such a loss reminds us of how the biggest limit of life, is also the biggest driving force, our mortality, we should not spend the rest of our life mourning a loss, we better live our lives in the memory of those we lost, to honour their passing, life will go on, let's not forget who we lost, but let's not waste our lives mourning for the rest of our lives, and remember fate only protects fools, little children and ships named enterprise, so unless you're a fool, a little child or a part of the crew of the enterprise, don't count on it to protect you

Description

This mod is dedicated to the memory of our friend and colleague Chris Knight - 'Amargosa'.

Chris tragically lost his life in a road accident earlier this year. He was a kind, helpful and genuine person, a good friend and a talented 3D modeller. Many of his models have featured in Armada 3. His presence in the modding community will be sorely missed.

With the imminent release of the final instalment of Armada 3, many of us on the team are reflecting on what the project has meant to us. Even with all the hard work, frustration and learning experiences, perhaps the strongest memories for all of us are the jokes, the conversations and debates, and the friendships that have developed over the years since this mod was first conceived. A group of strangers were brought together and became good friends. It was an honour to have Chris as a part of that.

Chris' passing reminds us to remember those things in life which truly matter - our friends, our families, the quality of our lives. Surround yourselves with good people. Hold dear those who love you. Never pass up an opportunity for growth and adventure. A life well lived is it's own reward.

"I rather believe that time is a companion that goes with us on the journey, and reminds us to cherish every moment...because they'll never come again. After all, Number One, we're only mortal."
