Not his fault - I overwrote a couple of pictures of the new pirate base with the Ent-D and Ent-E.

Awww you are going to bring a tear to my eye reminding me that the end is soon upon us. In my head I am listening to when Picard, Kirk and Archer said the motto together.

Most advanced ship in the fleet but the ugliest federation design ever.

Description

"The Enterprise-E is the most advanced starship in the fleet! We should be on the front line!"
- Commander Geordi LaForge, Chief Engineer of the Enterprise-E, questioning Starfleet's decision to hold the new Enterprise back from engaging the Borg

The USS Enterprise NCC 1701-E is the latest ship to carry the name. Considered the pinnacle of starship design, the Enterprise-E is an advanced Sovereign-class heavy explorer, and was launched in 2372 once more under the command of Captain Jean-Luc Picard. Carrying the legacy of the Enterprise name, the Enterprise-E has already distinguished itself, both in peace and at war.

Built in a tense time demanding pragmatism, the Enterprise-E lacked the comparative luxury of her predecessor. A long, sleek and majestic starship, the Enterprise-E was the most advanced and powerful starship in the fleet at the time of her launch, designed not only to explore the galaxy, but to defend the Federation from any threat. In it's comparatively short period of service, the Enterprise-E has done precisely that, defending the Federation and innocent worlds from the aggression of the Borg, the Dominion and its allies, and the murderous designs of the mad Praetor Shinzon.

The Enterprise-E will continue to serve the Federation for many years to come, and when the time comes will pass the legacy of the Enterprise name on to her successor. As Captain Picard himself noted, there are plenty of letters left in the alphabet. Whatever its form, the starship Enterprise will continue its journeys - a beacon of light in a dark universe, carrying the truest ideals of the Federation wherever it goes - boldly going where no one has gone before.
