PDA Hacking addon - S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

Welcome to the PDA Hacking mod!
Have you ever looted an encrypted PDA from a dead stalker and wished there was a cool hacking mechanic to unlock it? Well, this mod adds a hacking minigame that lets you do exactly that
I always loved minigames in games like Fallout, Cyberpunk and EYE: Divine Cybermancy, so here is my take on such a minigame!

To be able to hack a locked PDA first you need to get your hands on some Hacking Software. This comes in the form of a little USB key item. You can buy it from a mechanic or rarely loot it from dead stalkers. There are 3 tiers of hacking software, each giving you a better start at the minigame.
Keep the Hacking Software in your inventory and when you equip a locked PDA there will be an option to start the hack.
Picking up an item with Hacking Software adds a guide for the minigame in your PDA under the features category. Please read the guide!

If you fail hacking a PDA you can pay a technician to reset the encryption allowing you to try hacking again. You can still pay technicians to unlock failed PDAs, but this mod raises the default cost of unlocking.

The mod comes with an MCM menu with many useful settings, so make sure to check it out.
Options you can adjust:

• Difficulty of the minigame (The power of scripts)
• Chance for Hacking Software in loot
• Chance that looted PDA's are locked
• Chance that a PDA has a stash location
• Sound volume of minigame sounds
• Cost of resetting PDAs you failed to hack
• Cost of unlocking PDAs at technicians

I recommend using Mod Organizer 2 to install this mod.
Includes an optional addon to increase the PDA droprate on stalkers to twice vanilla values

Please be aware that because of how fonts are handled in Anomaly the text in the minigame may look different depending on your modlist setup. Some UI mods change the game's fonts and that will affect the minigame aswell.
Running the game at a resolution higher than 1080p will also affect the text in the minigame. Please let me know if you have issues with text and what resolution you're using.

If you use the mod "Better Encryption Overhaul" the feature of this mod increasing PDA unlock cost at technicians will be disabled for compatibility.

Known Issues:
Sometimes it looks like you run out of scripts but the minigame doesn't fail. Try scrolling up/down in the empty scripts list and scripts should appear. This is a bug with scroll lists in Anomaly. Will try figuring out a fix for a future update

Spawning in an npc pda with the debug menu will not work to try the minigame. It has to drop from a stalker. I can't do anything about that, it's how the pda item registration works.
