This mod catapults Empire at War into 2077. It maintains the game's design philosophy, while adding new units, better graphics, and deeper gameplay.
More work, I fixed megabaltas shitty missile texture, and made the ion pulse missile more distinguishable from the regular concussion missile (which was also colored blue)
NOTE: only the Gladiator (atleast, for now) has the ion pulse missile. I specifically hovered over the ship so the text would appear, read the text, its a very useful weapon. It actually makes them useful in lategame against way larger ships. Ofcourse, only as a support ship. You wont take out a mon cal 80 with just gladiators. That would be dumb.
New particles by megabalta, they look awesome. Don't think I need to point that out :)

Nevermind the diamond boron explosions from the x wing strafes at the end of the video, had a few lines of code mixed up. Was looking around to see if there was another marauder around, but no, it was my most dangerous arch nemesis; mixed up code...
That is totally awesome, great work dude
I have no words to describe that. Oh how I wish I could dig through your particle collection.
One thing I noticed is galadiators dont really seem like they're worth building. They died rather fast lol.
I agree, they seem to do little in the way of damage and die incredibly fast.
Exactly why I added the ion pulse missiles. Now they're like a mini nebula, multiple of them can even disable capital ships. Keep them focussed on large frigates singular and they're great for support.
Damn i would give my life to play this mod during the Clone Wars, dude imagine the Battle of Coruscant with all these lovely-made ships by Sir Jeroe and outstanding effects & explosions !
Amazing job as always ! :)
So much yusss!!!
And this mod became such an awesome special effects porn, as if J's real name was Michael Bay...
Who knows, J can be MB's cousin or something like that..
But in all seriousness J, is it possible to make a kind of mini-mod, with only a Galactic Conquest scenario where you attack Coruscant as the CIS with a tremendous fleet composed of lots pf Munificent, Recusant, Providence and Lucrehulks, against a heavy bunch of Venators ?
I mean, i don't want to disturb the mighty Jeroenimo at all, but just want to know if it could be a possibility :)
Well, to get to the point where I'd make just one small gc scenario with just like, 3 planets, and all those ships, I'd still have to make all those units, balance them (preferably model them all myself because I love modelling) and do all the work. At that point releasing a full clone wars mod would be a piece of cake and almost no extra work at all. Though I could simpely copy paste all of lets say, RaWs units into a new mod and mod all the graphics in, it'd still be a lot of work, not to mention disrespectful to the RaW team.
Maybe some day when I have this mod all finished. But most likely not, sorry to shatter your dreams, but that's just how it is.
Have you thought what are you going to do when you finish Re?
Thanks for replying Jeroe, you're totally right on all points, though i can't stop thinking about CIS ships being modelized by you, damn it would be sick !
And Boda, i think Jeroe is just going to re-re-remake the mod until he reaches perfection, till the end of humanity :p
Mmmm probably do a bunch of random stuff that eventually makes it into some mod. No clue honestly.
Do you have interest in modding other games ?
With your models and particle effects, you could do wonders in a Sins mod.
Especially because Sins is a space only game, and your mods are space-oriented as well.
Thank you guys, comments much appreciated :)
This is amazing! Love it, just love it
I must admit, this is perhaps the most visually spectacular mod I have ever seen for Empire at War next to Thrawn's Revenge.
However, for the sake of honest constructive criticism, some of these explosions are extraordinarily large. I am unsure if that is a glitch or not, but explosions such as destroyed hardpoints and missile impacts (if I am assuming their causes correctly) are absolutely massive, and I find that may be a bit too much.
Aside from that though, I must again complement the utterly exquisite visuals, and I am looking extremely forward to downloading the next version.
Yup, I addressed the issue in the first comment ;) And thank you, I do try
Many thanks for the swift response. I was not entirely certain what the Diamond Boron missile was since I could not make out the exact cause of the large explosion size, nor was I entirely certain if this was the problem you were referring to. Many thanks for enlightening me.
Wow, seriously. As I saw these new effects I thought EaW turned into a whole new game. It's some kind of...beyond. Great work on this!
Beautiful, I can hardly believe it's EAW, lol
those flash lights... beware epilptics lol.
