Just my honest opinion. This mod is great, but I feel that there a few shortfalls .
The AI just does not build high tier units enough, which makes combat quite one sided once you tech rush.

Also, the scrin and series do not have strong enough resource abilities to keep up, that being said, NOD has too powerful economy late game.

The fact that some units have directional firing arcs, and that don't automatically turn to engage in the direction.

The scrin and series have relatively weak super base defences.

Some units are just straight up OP AF, like orca battleship and Kodiak 2, simply thanks to omni aim and wide targeting arcs

Also most damage abilities require vision, and only GDI and series have abilities that actually give vision, what would help is if the other factions scan powers gave vision as well, I.E, you can use power scan or tib vibration scan to give vision so that you can use damage abilities

The mod is still nice but I feel that contra has lost its charm of high power level, I feel that some of the units have been toned down too much, and although I can respect that decision, it is not really my cup of tea. But still top tier nonetheless.

i really love your concepts for the new units, I follow on youtube, and I think your changes and balances, including stuff like anti missile/and anti air for ships in general, really rounds out the new and old roster without breaking the balance of the game

hello, I am here to talk about some balance issues with your mod, do not get me wrong, it is great to play this mod once again. BUT the EMP missiles for GDI missile squad do have a very severe balance issue, since EMP will one-shot all aircraft, up to even the Kodiak II

ok I am having a lot of issues with running this on my windows 10, it simply will not launch properly like 99% of the time, dunno if anyone else has this issue, but it seems to be a relatively recent issue since this did not happen at all when I played it last time

pretty sweet update, love the way you are changing up the sub-factions to be even more unique and crazy in all the right ways, although it seems to be even more aps intensive now, cant wait to see how the scrin turn out, R-17 blue shard launchers everywhere FTW

hmm pretty nice mod overall, changes to GDI are nice and really encapsulate the feeling of merging the 3 sub-factions together although 5 garrison slots on a bunker is pretty insane, nod and scrin are really not done yet, but I want to see maybe nod keeping confessor cabals and black disciples for sure with supercharged particle beams and all that **** , that was one aspect I really did not want to lose also maybe changing the default scrin growth accelerator to the R-17 one. a few quality of life changes would be changing back the truly terrible 3K 30s refineries to the OG cost and maybe some sort of tiny passive income

it would be nice if that was the case, since they are dead corpses after all, they could come out as the awakened, my main issue with that would be the squad size, u cant make a 3 man squad with only 2 dead bodies, but hey, that has never stopped TW and the squad size could be buffed to 3 to account for that problem, but then again, the chance that they could make it back to base without escort is low considering that the half cyborgs should probably be unaffected by the cybernetic legs upgrade and they do not have emp cannon ability, best use for them would be to send in the awakened to emp, and then suicide them to do high damage I guess

welp that is why it takes so long to do stuff in TW/KW modding anyway, besides if u really wanted, u could just do something like take the OG awakened model, and basically chop it in half at the torso, add some exposed flesh and bones to the texture and some flashing lights to indicate instability, and have a few different variations on the body damage, just for flavour and you are pretty much done, now the hard part is getting it to animate right using a VERY OUTDATED modelling software

I get that issue perfectly, u are not a modeller or an animator, and I think the code is thoroughly workable, but I guess that you would need a model to poach/or commission and an animator to work with you so that it becomes doable. so far there is no half cyborg model in any other mod so far. But on the shooting animation is probably easy, just copy the animations from the MOK awakened for the arms at least but on the crawling front yeah it would be super difficult especially since one of their arms is technically a gun

ok so here is my idea for MOK infantry, cyborg mechanics for all MOK cyborgs and any infantry that is affected by cybernetic legs, upon "squad death" not squad member death, the MOK infantry will spawn a 2 member squad of cyborgs with only torso like the OG TS cyborgs at low health, the crippled cyborgs or whatever will have a single gun per member but with only a fraction of the damage of the OG awakened, but can jump and suicide into vehicles or structures for high explosive damage or a terror drone like Damage over time effect, of course, the unit will not come out after destroying a targeted vehicle or structure unlike RAs terror drones. I feel that that would make the MOK more like their TS counterparts while having some new aspects of the half-but-not fully dead cyborg feel that TS had with cyborgs
TL:DR cyborgs become terror drones with a puny *** gun after death

also on your earlier point, I believe that some degree of cookie cutter is kind of required for a cohesive faction, I agree that generals also has it but to a less insane degree and kanes wrath did not do a good job in diversifying the T3 heavy units roles other than straightforward assault, and I do think that your updates have watered down the epic units too much with just the plain power creep, they are simply too much stuff that is really unbalanced in your mod that can simply rekt epics and make them lose their niche roles, for example, I really think that the starting units are a nice concept, but I feel that they are a bit of a cancer as base rushes are just a tactic that is just going to kill many people who do not know or have time to counter them and if we a talking about weak factions do not even get me started on how watered down some factions have become like the scrin in general and not to mention the steel talons

ok fine than, if everyone is equally overpowered it will somehow even out, that same old generals mentality that led to mods such as shockwave chaos and contra for instance and you should know how different approaches to unit types and balancing counters can get extremely crazy with some degree of just outright stupid tactics such as cruise missile bombers that cannot be countered at all and not to mention the out of whack insane stuff in shockwave chaos, I want to see unit role diversity between factions, but don't go all out whack like those mods is what I really mean to say , welp good work anyway and hope for another new version soon

well but I could see it being very broken especially with the voice of kane thingy with unit heals and all and not to mention emp arty, just like the combo with voice of kane and reckoners that is just bat **** crazy on BH that can even stop epics dead in their tracks or the even more insane triple garrison ZOCOM hammerheads, basically nod has become more of a tank faction than a assault and harass faction, and GDI, more specifically ZOCOM have just become broken to the point of insanity with the hammerhead/missile squad combo with the darn grenades that just rekts everything

oh btw on the subject of airburst projectiles for 1.25, how will they work, will it just be a toggle between normal HE projectiles and airburst, how will this affect the general damage of arty like the specter or the behemoth etc, from what i can see, this would be a huge damage down overall for specters as you would need huge numbers to combat the overall spread inherent at long ranges with used with shadow trooper, and AOE damage basically goes down the toilet
, behemoths on the other hand would be nerfed but not as hard since they only fire 1/3 main guns at a time when bombarding with snipers and the spread might actually be good since their projectiles do no splash damage at all

in the next, update, can there be an option to move the UI back to the sides like in regular TW/KW menu back to the sides instead of the bottom, it is very annoying to have my discord notifications pop up and block the button when I want to unload infantry or do other kinds of things with my units

for me demo is far easier, just go full aircraft on him with roaches for GLA, or go helix or commache for USA and China, along with HEAVY AT base defences, airforce is literally cancer, yeah u can spam AA but its still a meme given how heavy his base defences are

well then again it seems like 2.0 alpha will be put on hold for at least a few more years while 1.7 which is the bug-fixed version of 1.6 is probably up sooner than later which is still saying next year at the earliest
