Beautiful; I'm digging the new unit cards
Sounds great. Glad you're starting with Germanic and Roman rosters; can't wait to play as my Alamanni ancestors and set up a nice home in the Black Forest. The amount of detail you've already added to Bannerlord, with plenty of vanilla assets to assist you in the first place, means this mod is going to be detailed beyond what we all expected.
So many fourth walls broken every "Monthly Update ____"
Oh my, how scenic. Looks like a nice spot for a skirmish or raid
Wow, this just keeps getting better and better! Those Vampire horses sure do look creepy.
Also congrats on ranking #3 in popularity on ModDB :)
The amount of detail and work you get done in such a short span of time is beyond impressive, especially for a mod. Outstanding job as always.
If you add High Elves and Dark Elves, we'll all die happy(-ier).
Wow, what a content drop! Look at that Vampire Lord! This looks leagues better than anything AAA have ever put out.
The amount of detail here is very impressive, especially when we'll see dozens if not hundreds of these on a battlefield.
Oooh, lovely. I'm getting Vermintide/Mordheim vibes here.
I'd say Ham 2 has better/unique campaign mechanics, as well as proper spells in battles, and a wide variety of heroes and legendary lords with various mounts available in campaign and MP/custom battle.
BOTET plays much more like a realistic battle visually and gameplay-wise, and is much more chaotic. I think saying it's more of a true Total War experience is accurate, while Ham 2 is more of a true Warhammer experience. BOTET also has Chaos Demons, Chaos Dwarfs, and Ogre Kingdoms, which Ham 2 does not include. I used to prefer BOTET over Ham 1 until Ham 2 and its DLC came out. BOTET also uses older models for units (I think 6th edition, or thereabouts).
This mod's going to take away 500 hours of my life, isn't it?
Brilliant scenery. This mod alone is worth buying Bannerlord.
This mod is going way beyond my expectations. I can tell you devs really pour your hearts into this subject. Judging from how this is going, I can see myself dumping hundreds of hours into this mod alone. Keep it up, this is outstanding :)
Awesome, so glad to hear! A minor faction decision makes sense, since the Saxons and Angles were the more prominent seafaring Germanic peoples around that area at the time. Still appreciate the idea of adding these minor factions for flavor.
The only issue I have is picking a starting faction with so many dope options ;)
With the skeleton editor for Bannerlord, we could get to see proper reload and firing animations, perhaps even an ironsights mode. Loved your mods for Warband, and highly anticipate seeing them revitalized in Bannerlord! :)
Thankfully, many assets from vanilla Bannerlord can be used for this mod, as Bannerlord's timeframe is basically a fictionalized version of late Antiquity. This seems like the most practical period for a Bannerlord historical mod. Hope we can see Scandinavia populated with Jutes, Danes, and the like. Look forward to seeing this mod progress :)
Welp, time to change my pants.
Whoa, that almost looks like a photograph. Nice job
Sorry, I mistakenly wrote the wrong batch lines here. The solution is "start darkplaces.exe" with -hipnotic or -rogue after the .exe for the corresponding Mission Packs. The "run" command causes the batch to close, so use "start" instead.
Sorry for the delay, friend, been busy.
I tried every variation you mentioned, both with and without the cd lines and switching between "run" and "start", and the issue is when the batch starts with "run", as the batch screen will show for a second but the game just doesn't start. The "start _.exe" command works for certain, with or without the cd lines. If "run" is present, it won't work with or without the cd lines. I mistakenly said in my original post that "run darkplaces" works, but it was actually "start darkplaces.exe".
