I played the older version before but this one crashes. Does the new version only work on gzdoom and not zandronum?

Is this vanilla doom 3 coop or are some things modded like weapons or anything? I was wondering because if its just vanilla doom 3 with coop will this work with mods like "perfected doom 3"?
EDIT: Tested it out for myself and see AND love the weapon changes!
Is there a way to force the teleportation? None of my guys are teleporting when I take elevators or ladders.
Hey there love your mod I use to use it all the time back in the day. Its been years but I wanna play doom 3 again and holy moly THIS MOD was updated! But onto my question regarding your comment: Will this older real weapons mod work in this new version of your mod?
Probably been suggested but maps that would also be interesting would be Telos Station when the ravager attacks. A space battle map near the planet/station. As well as a ground battle map within the Telos station when Nhilus' forces were assaulting it.
OH MY GOD.. Right after the comment yesterday I can't believe it. I am so excited to try this out. I was not aware of te change to Steam version so I will reinstall the steam gold pack and remove my GOG
I haven't commented in awhile but I'm starting another 2.6 run because I'm just too thirsty. Please, I'm dyin of that 2.7 thirst. The more I see of it the more I crave it! ( O_O)

You're welcome, unfortunately this doesn't help those poor souls with the gold edition if they don't have a friend who owns the GOG version. I Have no idea if moving the GAMECONSTANTS file into the AOTR XML folder alone works. If you could confirm that, it would be VERY helpful to the community of steam gold pack owners. Did you move GAMECONSTANTS into your AOTR XML folder?
Thank you for the response! As a last ditch effort we tried this! I saw bullet mention this method. So here's the thing: If anyone out there has the steam version of the gold pack, APPARENTLY the XML folder only has a single file in it called GAMECONSTANTS. No AI folder or parsingequations nothing.

Steps to fix AI glitch:
1. Locate your AI folder in the corruption/data/xml folder
2. cut the folder and paste it into the AotR/data/xml folder
3. Select Yes to Replace all
4.launch game, alt tab and press ok on the error message
5.re tab back into the game and it should load normally.
So without having the needed files for the instructions I zipped and sent my GOG AI folder lmao and he put it in his AotR data\xml folder after emptying is base games xml folder of that one file. NOW I can't remember if he put both my GOG XML contents as well as his GAMECONSTANTS file but it works. He started it up. Got the parsing error still, but we launched a skirmish to test and they were working and he dove into Galactic Contest for a few minutes and the AI was working there too. So it works somehow. You just have to ignore the error message.
Hopefully they can find a way for 2.7 to work with the new steam gold pack file format and even getting it on the workshop would be helpful, but this work around seems to be working for the moment!

Hi I posted a big post about steam gold pack earlier, I wanted to try this step with my friend but when he went to his xml folder all that was in there was GAMECONSTANTS and nothing else, I watched him uninstall and delete remaining files manually so steam is literally giving him only that and it runs fine. But what gives? Why is the steam gold pack only have the one file in its corruption/XML folder? hmmm
I could really use some help here if possible. I owned a retail copy originally but I lost it ages ago, re-bought the GOLD PACK on steam and then I bought the GOLD PACK from GOG forever ago because modding was simpler. So I am currently using the GOG version. I hyped my friend up for this mod because 2.7 looks amaizing and 2.6 is dope. He has the GOLD PACK version on steam and he doesn't want to buy the game again for 20 dollars. So we ran the installer, changed steams launch settings to sweaw MODPATH=Mods\AotR2.60 and ran it, chose forces of corruption. Parsing Error. We then changed the launch options to swfoc MODPATH=Mods\AotR2.60. Doesn't work. Then we tried changing the names of the data folders like the instructions said to (Data_Original and Data_AOTR) and then switched the launch options between swfoc and sweaw. Doesn't work.
I was screen-sharing and walking him through this the whole time and we even got crazy and tried our own methods. We just now gave up and I said I'd go ask on the mod page. There are steam instructions so I figure hey this works on steam and I don't see anyone else posting about the Steam Edition GOLD PACK not working so what gives, what am I doing wrong?
If it does work with steam GOLD PACK any help would be amazing I really want him to experience this mod.. and hopefully convince him to try the rebels for extra freshness (He has never played once as the rebels in all these years. Terrorists he says)

Oh no I totally get why you're not interested. No worries. Everybody knows the space battles is where its at haha. I'm currently looking at other mods to see if one looks good for ground and then going to take a look at file structure and what not to see if this is feasible.
This looks incredibly good, I am currently re downloading the game for the first time in a looong time. Feelin Star Warsy I guess! Question: Would it be a small feat to somehow take just ALL things landwise from another mod and cram it into yours. It's just a cryin shame to have vanilla land battles. They aren't the worst thing in the world but.... Just wondering if you think it's something that is at all possible AND if a dumb monkey (Me) could merge land changes from another mod into yours with relative ease of drag and or the like?

So I know you probably have your own idea or vision here, but a quick request. Could there be a version of this with only dark jedi and shadowtroopers having sabers? I noticed there is a vibroblade to choose from, I'd love to see the regular enemies like rodians, mercs and other regular enemies who have sabers to have vibroblades instead

Some of the galactic campaigns seem broken. Some planets are too far away to jump to and eventually I capture the planets that I CAN reach but then can do nothing else... Am I missing something?
Multiplayer crashes before I can do anything. Changing video settings or trying to join my own (bat) server, causes instant crash followed by Program has stopped working etc etc. Other than than the single player seems to be working fine, liking the new feel so far! Keep up the good work. Has anyone else had the multiplayer issues?

Yeah i did that but steam's shortcuts are diff from retail properties are not the same so idk how to put the custom shortcut target path in :/
