Description

REQUIRES GZDOOM 4.3.3. Replaces all weapons, enemies and items with Star Wars themed assets. Gameplay is changed quite a lot, there aren't any hitscan attacks but projectiles typically move quite fast. Most projectiles are 3d models of Star Wars blaster effects. Infighting is also rare and usually only happens between imperials, aliens and bounty hunters (they won't attack their own team). The Icon of Sin is also replaced with a more traditional boss enemy, Emperor Palpatine. You can also find a lightsaber and unlock force powers, or even start off as a Jedi.

-New class selection feature, Katarn (normal gameplay) Jedi (start with lightsaber and basic force powers) and Trooper (start with rebel rifle and stun batton, no force powers, get shock gloves instead of saber)
-New enemy: Lambda shuttle, spawns with Cyberdemon along with ATST, stays landed but spawns a squad of various imperial foes, including stormtroopers with mortar guns and even Darth Vader (who is no longer and Archvile)
-New enemy Rodian Sniper: spawns with revenants along with the other alien bounty hunters, sprite and special movement AI by Wardust
-Elite rifle has been re-skinned to the cannon "Death Trooper E-11D Rifle"
-Death Trooper enemy sprite now carries new weapon sprite of e11d, they also have a chance to throw thermal detonators. Voice volume has also been increased
-New enemy spawners made for stealth monsters, mostly just placeholders of existing enemies (nothing random) moslty for easier thing placements for maps
--Biker Scout (Scout troopers on speeder bikes) replaces StealthCacodemons
--Two new "shadow" versions for stealth monsters: Shadow Zero-G Trooper and Shadow Dark Trooper
-New R2D2 beeping sounds for when you find a secret
-DLT-19 has recoloured sprites
-Repeater/Flechette projectile bolts are now round
-Gran bounty hunter sprites are now in Dark Forces palette
-Updated weapon sprite and AI for the imperial sniper scout, better accuracy but slower attack and Wardust's rodian sniper AI
-TIE Fighters, Bombers and Incerceptors have a chance to replace the Spidermastermind, their AI also has some slight improvements by Wardust
-New blaster decal and smoke effects by Wardust
-New weapon select movement by Wardust
-Enemy spawners made for Heretic (not fully tested, endboss not replaced)
-Limited support for Hexen and Strife added including weapon, enemy/npc and item replacements (not fully tested, most bosses not replaced)
-New secret NPC, Astromech droid, summon with R2D2 or Astromech or Astromech2 to 7
-New mouse cursor replacements (default: blue saber, doom: blaster pistol, heretic: green saber, hexen: red saber, strife: purple saber, chex quest: yellow saber)

I played the older version before but this one crashes. Does the new version only work on gzdoom and not zandronum?

EDIT: Ah "May Not Run With: Zandronum" :(

Whenever I feel like it pretty much. I don't have a set schedule.

If there's something I feel like adding to it then I will. I have slowed down recently, but I've got some plans for some new stuff later, which will be out "when it's done". ;P

If I do another major update I'll try and make it a new file, but if there's some minor stuff than I might go back to just replacing the old file.

I got into this mod a few days ago, and I am hooked. Thank you so much for all of this. I'll give feedback at a later time. All I have as of now is stuff regarding the texture pack (stuff not mentioned in the known issues), but I know you mentioned its not perfect.

UPDATE 4/2/20
-Detpacks have been re-coded so that they should work in multiplayer now (before players could detonate each other's deployed detpacks) they also have a new graphic (from Jedi Outcast/Academy) and they now properly stick to enemies (still float if they were on a moving platform though) the remote is also now shown during the ready state
-New special weapon: DEMP 2, upgrade to Ion Blaster (dropped rarely by spider probes)
-A280 Blaster Rifle ROF is increased but stil slightly slower than the E-11 (keep it mind the A280 does slightly better damage on average too)
-Flechette launcher alt-fire's spread has been adjusted
-PLX missile launcher's HUD sprite has been fixed up a bit for widescreen
-Got rid of the scout sniper's custom movement for now (it was a little glitchy)
-Phase Zero Dark Trooper no longer shows a shooting frame while landing after jet-jumping
-Stormtrooper no longer shows a shooting frame while being revived
-Replaced hanging baron texture with a hanging droid in the textures pack
-Updated Weapons and Enemies only patches (separate downloads)

BUG FIX UPDATE
DEMP-2 weapon wasn't set up for Jedi and Trooper classes, disabling the player from switching weapons, should be fixed now

It wont work, I get this error message:
