Alright, thank you for the response and your hard work!
I believe so, yes, the 'disable body displaying' was ticked, made sure I couldn't see my legs anymore, saved, exited, then removed the mod but the game crashes when I load the save which was after I disabled body displaying, the log mentioning 'can't open section: military_sky_outfit---' forgot the rest of it.
I believe I can still reproduce it, and record it if you want to see it.
hello, I just wanted to report that upon attempting an uninstallation (enabling the tick, saving, exiting and removing the addon), 'Can't open section' crash occurs anyway.
I was expecting to change some values with the mod's code and all, but if it's that simple, then it's more than doable. With that said, thanks for the tip.
I'm no experienced in modding, but I shall try. will give an update sometime..
for a more proper mod-- if I can even call it that, this, but make it so that the sound only plays when you die.
for more chaos, add another version where you make it happen when anyone dies.
Contrary to what most would think when seeing this mod, this actually isn't out of the realm of possibilities considering the STALKER universe. Even in real life, certain predators mimic the voice of their victims to lure in more prey of the same species. Add to that a grain of STALKER spice, and it might just be possible for mutants to... mutate, mimicking human voices to lure in unsuspecting stalkers.
Still doesn't make sense? Tell me then, does a dwarf-- or a ball of lightning capable of levitating objects and throwing them at you, make more sense than a flesh imitating human phrases? You'd have to be short-sighted to think this mod isn't actually ******* genius.
Does this mod have any incompatibilities with other mods that, say, modify the weather or the like?
Hot take here. I wonder why people can't just ignore the mod altogether without having to express how much they disdain anything anime-related. No one is forcing you to download & add this to your save file to begin with.
I'd like to inquire-- although it seems quite obvious, but I'm not so sure myself: If your companions were to kill another stalker, do they have a say in laying claim to the loot or are there no qualms about it?
edit: Finally decided to install the mod and see for myself. It seems companions have no problem letting you loot the stalkers they killed.
I like the idea of this addon. Not great with warfare though, it gets quite bloody when Loners and Monolithians walk into Skadovsk at night. Nevertheless, will keep an eye out for this one.
Hey I'd like to inquire: is it possible for players to repair the ballistic inserts, and if not, is it possible for you to add a repair functionality? I'm not so fond of having to replace equipment all the time, I'd rather stick with what I already have.
Hey I'd like to ask as to whether or not is this mod compatible for 1.5.1?
Alright, thanks for the reply!
Hey, I have 2 questions:
1. If you enable a faction from being able to participate in warfare after you initially disabled them, does the effect take place during the game or do I have to play a new game?
2. If you apply another preset during a game of warfare, does the new settings take effect?
Other than that, just wanted to say your mod is just what I've been looking for.
Thank you for creating this mod. I have been looking for one around for quite some time that did a similar job to what Bethesda does with your companions in their games, in which they can get incapacitated, but don't die. Thank you again.
I guess. Oh well, when all else fails I guess I can rely on mods for this.
Dog: look, the door is closed, we can't get in *pushes door* see.
Cat:
Wdym **** immersion.
This is the most immersive thing that has come by far.
Thank you very much for the link!
Is it possible instead, that to join another faction, you would have to raise relations and talk to the leader of said faction to join them? I personally think that would make more sense and add into the immersion wherein you need to do some heavy work to gain some trust should you wish to allow yourself to be employed by *insert faction*
Just discovered this today, seems promising. I'll be looking forward for more updates!
Hello guys, is there a torrent download for the latest version as of now? I see some torrent downloads available for anomaly, but it's around 7 months and beyond since it was last posted.
I have slow internet, making it so that I can't download 10-12 GB (let alone 2-3) in one sitting, so I need a torrent version so I can download it throughout time.
It's alive. It's not going to be updated pretty soon (I may be wrong), but it's alive and the devs are doing their best to get some work done on it.
If you're playing on an easier difficulty, I suggest amping it up. As far as I can recall, playing on a lower difficulty not only lowers the amount of damage YOU take, it also lowers the amount of damage OTHER stalkers take.
I may be wrong though so pls don't slap me ;-;
Hello, I don't know if this has already been reported but-- I seem to be unable to recruit Marius the Apprentice (forgot if that's exactly his name). When I talk to him in a tavern, he talks to me as if I've already recruited him when I didn't.
Also heads up, genders seem to have swapped. Males are referred to as "her" and Females-- "him".
At certain points in the game, or perhaps when fighting against a certain race if i'm mistaken, I suddenly crash in the midst of a battle.
Other than that, the new update regarding the winds of magic is beautiful.
One last thing: at certain occassions, I seem to be the target of a quest given by guildmasters particularly when they ask me to settle a bout between two lords which is me, and myself. There was another instance which I was also the target of a quest, but I forgot-- I'll post another comment when I get to see this.
Hello, I'd like to ask if there's an alternate way to download like through torrent.
14 years...
nevermind this i can't take it
This reply is literally too late, but for the sake of it: Copy and Paste the executable for Medieval 2, otherwise known as the launcher for Medieval 2 (medieval2.exe - usually) and rename it as "kingdoms.exe". There you have it.
