I was able to get it to semi work thru doing what you said, and getting the DX9 stuff, but I also had to change the registry to force it to run in windowed mode, AND run it in reduced color mode 16bit.

ALL 3 must be done for it to even launch, and even then it will randomly crash on menu shifts usually after a mission completes, or before a mission starts. Probably something to do with the windows changing size and all that.

So I'm half way there lol. Any Ideas how to get it to run in fullscreen, or to run smoothly with windowed or a borderless fix?

Any way to make the ambient music ingame quieter? Its quite loud in my opinion and no the music volume slider doesn't do anything lol.

Why is it that my frames are so poor when running the steam version, but when I use openmw my frames are over twice as good, when running nothing but rebirth?

With these specs im at about 40fps in balmora, and im not even running MGEXE other than for a slightly higher FOV

Did anybody ever end up fixing how a leather jacket and a exoskeleton protect you the exact same amount against bullets regardless of armor rating?

Last time I played this mod I had to manually adjust every piece of armor in the game because they literally did nothing.

Although that was a LONG time ago and many versions ago.

I'll give it a reinstall soon and test things out again, but I was extensively testing using debugger. I've ran into similar things like this before with these outfit packs and weapon packs, which this mod uses. Inconsistencies and probably mistypes and forgets in their protection values, damage values, armor piercing values, etc. Also if what Nobby_nobbs says is true, I wouldnt be surprised if other armors are missing things, or are just not tweaked to be balanced with this pack.

Long time ago in CoC 1.4.22 I did a complete rework and fix of these kinds of issues and extensively debug and playtested it until I was satisfied with the result of every single gun, armor, bullettype, resistance table to each effect including anomalies, etc. If I decide to go through that headache again i'll upload it this time as a addon.

Although im tempted to just wait for the next version before I blow all of that time. I saw that perhaps it would be soon.

Anybody else realise that even unsupressed enemies gun sounds are VERY faint from a distance? And how sometimes armors seem to apply absolutely no protection to you from gunfire. And how even a measily glock 9x19 can 1 shot most stalkers in the toe... and various other things thats problem seems to be rooted in the damage the guns deal, also the armor values given to stalkers.

I've been doing a-lot of testing in debugger and yeah.. things just seem off with the damages. Other than that, this is a very interesting mod and I very much enjoy it.

So I dunno if I'm crazy, but it seems like some of gun sound effects, usually pistols, are rediculously quiet past like 20 meters which makes it really difficult to pinpoint where you're being shot from sometimes.

But in my hands, all the pistols sound fine, but once theres a bandit a tiny bit of a distance away from me tapping 1 shot at a time, they are very hard to hear even with max volume.

Any ideas? I had this problem once before on CoC and my way to fix it was delete all of the ambient sound effects. But this mod has many great ones which makes me not want to do that.

No, you cant combine weapon packs unless you manually do it yourself which takes days of work if you are inexperienced.

Also, I forgot to mention, I've installed it several times, making sure I messed nothing up, and extensively tested it to find out that file is the EXACT culprit of the problem.

I'm running STCoP, Outfit Addon, and this.

What is the purpose of the (wpn_hand_rg6_hud_animation) files? Because once they get installed they cause everything to work and not CTD when using items such as medkits. But on the flipsside it causes my RG6 grenade launcher to be stuck at the top right of my screen, with arms protruding from my chest. Why does that happen? And why if i remove that file my visual bug is fixed, but then i CTD every time i use an item? Is there any way to fix this? Its very unimmersive when I want to use the RG-6 and its glitched and all messed up at the top right of my screen.

Why is it sometimes if you sleep at Rostok you will awake with a shitload of dudes all killing eachother, Mercenaries, Military etc. They dont even attack the outside, they actually SPAWN inside the area..

Why is it that sometimes when I load into a zone like 50 mutants + 50 stalkers from various factions spawn in instantly and have a huge brawl randomly.

Also stalkers seem to just teleport in sometimes, like randomly freedom will have a few stalkers inside RADAR which is fully controlled by Monolith.

Its like they didint even travel to that destination, they simply spawned in for no apparent reason.

Its just kind of annoying because all the orrigional guns in the game are still very unrealisticly inaccurate not quite what I expected from this mod but I hope in 0.45 the weapon damage/accuracy will be tweaked.
