easiest way is to install gog version, copy the xr_3da.exe inside of bin folder of the gog version, and paste it in the bin folder of the steam version of the game

man I want to do something like this but with the original doom, with support for other mods and wads, and making a way of converting them automatically to 3d hd terxtures, animations or models, fullly compatible with everything
I want to build a team of developers, 3d artists and textures to make a similar but better mod for original doom. Of course I can't participate in the creation cuz, altough I have the ideas I don't know how to do that since I'm just a gamer, not a developer

sorry for my english and I didn't want to sound rude or something, I'm just reporting bugs and making constructive critics and suggestions for an even better SEF mod
I found some bugs in swat 4. P-90 doesn't have an ironsight, only a square, and have too low precision, while the real life p-90 have a good precision. The UMP submachinegun have misaligned ironsights, that's pretty annoying cuz I found the ump the be a very good submachinegun in swat 4, but I'm unable to use it's sight, and its texture makes it look like a stained old weapon, at least in the equipment screen. Another thing that breaks immersion is the invisible part of the weapon when u aim it with the zoom in ironsighs disabled. I could fix this by disabling z range hack in infiltration, but even swat 4 being made in the same engine as ut99 and consequentially infiltration I don't know if swat have this option in its render ini. And now the worst bug I found in sef mod: The flashlights issue. In vannilla swat the flashlight works correctly, but in sef mod it has a very weird behavior: the flashlight lights 3d objects like tables or chairs, but it don't light up walls, and i even saw it passing by the walls and illuminating the objects in the other room! I don't care if it illuminates the other room since the enemy don't see it, but it is annoying cuz it dont illuminate the wall I want to see.
Ah and u should fix the gameplay when we disable crosshairs. I'm now playing with crosshairs enabled cuz otherwise I cant see where I'm pointing in the door. There should be an option when u can disable crosshairs for more realism, but mantaignin the icons that appear in the middle of the screen like the c2 icon when I point above the lock, so we can see which action we will perform. And I would like to see 3d scopes too, not that weird 4:3 resolution aimpoint sight overlay that pop up when we use the acog. If u want to mantain it a 2d overlay instad of making a correct 3d sight, at least make it good for 16:9 and 16:10 and ultrawide screen cuz nobody still uses a 4:3 monitor, and make an acog sight overlay for the acog sight, not an aimpoint overlay, or change the sight model and remove the zoom. walking while leaning without returning to the default position would be great too

what the inventory utx does? I want to download only gameplay modifications, cuz my pc is old and lags with original ravenshield graphics, so i dont want nothing that improves the graphics, only the gameplay

The skins have a grain effect, and when using eith hd weapons this mod weapon skins aren't used, only the hd weap. Idk if this is good or bad, cuz they have lower resolution than this mod but they have shiny parts that are visible when in the darkness. It would be good if you make this, like adding a glow effect to the red parts of the dispersion pistol as example, but first u will need to tell me how to use ur skins in conjunction with hd weapons. I use the 226 version of hd weapons cuz when using the 227, game crashes saying it couldn't spawn player
Were can I get a manual of direct 3d 9 options? I found for opengl and for d3d10, but not for d3d9
And I have one more question. Does I have to download v1.1 too, to get unreal evolution in normal unreal campaign, or unreal evolution 2.2 covers RTNP and unreal?
Can u release a low res version? every time an explosion occurs or when a body get smashed, it says precaching for ~10 seconds. If I turn off precache then it lags for 10 seconds. I can't see other alternative, than uninstalling this mod. I promise I'll download it again when I get a decent PC
