DR4 is a compilation pack of various mods and assets which aims to bring Classic Doom into the modern era. It replaces all 2D sprites to the 3D models, adds new high resolution textures, shaders/materials and some other stuff.
I recreated the page for archiving purposes because apparently the original author who compiled this (vasyan777) deleted his mod page for blunt reasons and should had just change its name and remove any copyrighted logos from the build to avoid any legal issues which lead to the shut down of this mod (it was named Doom Remake 4). So I myself deleted all copyrighted logos/trademarks in the build and renamed it.
It appears that the mod had some crediting issues, but fortunately I found the credits list: Pastebin.com
This pack doesn't include any IWADs, so to play this mod you have to purchase the original classic Doom game and extract the archive of the mod into your Doom folder. Also note that this is a mod for the original Doom game which uses an official build of GZDoom (ver. 4.1.3) - a GPL-compliant fork of the original Doom engine. It doesn't use any third party engines like Unity/UE etc. This is the latest version of this compilation mod I could found. I tested it and it runs flawlessly on my GTX 1060 in 1080p.
Due to the fact that the original author abandoned the project and I only re-uploaded it, I do not offer any support for this, so don't expect me to release any further updates. This is just for archiving.

I want to build a team of developers, 3d artists and textures to make a similar but better mod for original doom. Of course I can't participate in the creation cuz, altough I have the ideas I don't know how to do that since I'm just a gamer, not a developer

Thanks! This is just like the original, but don't load texturelights.pk3 or you'll ruin the atmosphere.
Can you post the link for lite (Light) version if possible.
So gamer with low system specs can run it
dowload the zip, and from doom_remake_4.pk3 extrax this:
01_lights2.waad
07_HD_Textures.wad
23_BloomBoost.wad
and charge it with your refereed mod
you can also load it with other liquid texture pak for low systems(search in google).
if you like a 3Dmodel extract this to (from doom_remake_4.pk3)
3d_models_items.pk3
3d_models_mosnter.pk3
3d_models_others.pk3
Charg all of them in ZDL or launcher wherhever u use, and play with other mods to!
