yes it is much better (those last lasers while they worked looked like they where trying to invent a new type of blue screen ) ground is much less clunky
ok so this is odd? retreating to hyperspace counts as a ship lost in GC if they are still retreating when the battle ends.
when i say counts as a loss i mean they are gone the ship no longer exist

Mon Cal ships where not designed as warship. But rather the space version of a cruise ship.
I also believe that the bridge on the ISD is the the most heavily shielded part of the ship and is kept away from the reactors in case something goes wrong. gotta protect the higher ups correct?
vulture. they can dock in odd places and have seeking missiles as well 4 lasers instead of 2.

I hope the lasers have been updated they looked like there where firing from awkward places in the last version. (like behind the ship, a noticeable distance in front of the ship to name a few) and lastly not look like they are sliding across a sheet

thats because base game got an update on steam that changed things up a little bit. some mods are not able to compensate till they are patched with the next update in mind. empire at war had not been updated in a long time. try the gog copy works fine there
hahahaha. this mod was out long before cannon became legends. the new cannonmod are few and havent shown up much stuff. there's just not that much new cannon stuff compared to old cannon

the battledragons where designed win that way due to a old turbo laser design.
like the automatic machine gun vs the gattling gun.
modern turbo designs are like the machine gun, the old style the hapians use are more like the gattling. the turbo lasers rotate around the ring of the ship allowing a fresh one to always be at the front while the old ones cool down. this shows itself as a "river" of laser-fire.
so i have to comment on this
1 plasma turret. now that is very interesting seeing as that's the vong weapon of choice. other then striping shields with doven basils
anyway i have to remember that the plasma win the Star War universe was described as being extremely powerful but readily lost its power due to the fact that the plasma cooled very fast. how are you tackling this?
the partical shields would be used mainly to uphold the hull integrity and deflect micro meteroids rather then direct wepons fire.
in fact there are several references to solid mass object weapons being so out dated that they where only used by the poorest of the poor or places that haven't really had contact with he rest of the galaxy for thousands of years.
interesting to note was the fact that there where weapons designed to target the partical shield and not the energy one that where basically one shot kills. we see on such prototype in the battle of the maw instillation where it weakened the hull integrity slightly (like less then .1% of the hull) causing the ship to basically dessintigrate. this would lead to the speculation that the partical shields where significantly weaker then the energy shield. hence why the missiles and mass drivers would ignore shields buy lead to vastly cut damage against the armor. (thus exposing a severe weakness in rebel/ new republic ship which are shield based. vs the empire where where heavily armor based) htere are other points if you look throughtout the expanded universe that would point to the weapons like missiles being able to bypass energy shields to a degree.
also not that the missiles used are mainly concussion missiles that when they explode would have a huge radius of damage but do not do very much of it. a shield system would have to compensate so that illusion of a huge impacts (that lets face it would be making the shield system over compensate in some areas) again leading to a shield weakness
