Anyone know which file adjusts faction relations? I want to get rid of the -20.00 the Borg have at the start of each game
You're welcome for catching the bug; this still remains my favorite Star Trek mod to date and I always come back to it :)
I have had this issue also; it's a bug the team has not addressed. The best you can do is try to move your fleets back in.
"25% Empire" That surprises me because I have always beat the crap out of the empire. Overall though I do agree that it is well balanced as is. Please don't nerf any of them!
So I love the feature where Carida spawns field and fleet commanders when you control it with high enough influence. It’s a good way to keep something original with a twist.
On that note, I miss the bounty hunters and smugglers you could build on certain planets in the vanilla game.
My suggestion is to allow Corellia (Han Solo’s planet) and the other original smuggler planets the ability to create a cantina (example: limit of 2 per planet, 5 per faction) to be built which can periodically spawn smugglers for you to use. You could do the same with Hutt palaces spawning bounty hunters, with the bounty hunters having the ability to kill heroes (for a price of course), field/fleet commanders and enemy smugglers.
The hype is real; I'm excited!

I can confirm the galactic freeze bug still occurs. Mine froze on week 78 on the Empire's Essence campaign.

On the bug fixing note, please fix the Scrapper minor faction. AI's still sit their fleet on that spot during games with minor factions enabled (See my November 2019 post)
The short answer is yes, it still has issues.
The longer answer is that you should be able to at least launch the mod correctly, but you will eventually have the game crash on you frequently once you have 2 hour+ game time in. I was hoping the echo papa drone fix would address the frequent game crashing but it has not yet. I use Steam to get some play time in; perhaps try it from there if you are using a different platform?
This mod is great! Definitely going to play it again when the New Republic comes out though! Hopefully I won't die from the coronavirus before then :P
For the Federation it is the curry class.
Out of curiosity, are you still working on allied/vassal factions, or is that a thing of the past?

Your mod is AMAZING! I love the assimilation mechanic of the Borg, the functionality of the units and the fact that the game doesn't crash every half an hour unlike Interregnum. I have yet to see the Romulans in action but I am pleased with the other 4 factions I have seen so far. It seems pretty well balanced, with the exception of the Borg but I'm ok with that because the Borg are supposed to be OP in the first place.
Constructive criticism? The scrapper minor faction - the one that spawns "mothballed" ships you can buy - seems to trick the AI into thinking the planet is constantly under attack due to the mothballed ships showing up on the right side of the planet AKA the enemy ship side. The ability seems to be broken as well; the mothballed ships come under your command only some of the time when the ability is used. My Fed AI ally gained control of it later and then sat their entire fleet on the planet and did not move for the rest of the game (other than building buildings and sending raids) and sent me pings once in a while requesting for assistance at that planet. I hope that gets fixed in the next version.

My game crashes 3+ hours in for the same reason as well. Sadly, it seems we can all enjoy the mod for only a few hours before it unavoidably crashes. What a shame, it's really fun otherwise! In addition, the game randomly crashes if there are really large battles or once in a while when im switching between research, relationships, piracy etc. on the top screen. Great mod, but still pretty buggy :/. +3 for content and effort, -2 for a crash every half an hour. 3/5 stars.
SUPER excited about the allied factions possibility as it would be a fun mechanic I've always wanted to see. Keep up the awesome work!

Is there a way for the vanilla factions to be added in to play also, or would that mess things up?
I fought the Borg as a fed player and the first battle was pretty much Wolf 359 - my entire fleet got destroyed! While the Klingons and Romulans got my back, I rebuilt an army of almost entirely steamrunners and the Borg got ANNIHILATED - long range weaponry is apparently their weakness.
