Welcome one and all to the 2015 Mod of the Year awards, the largest modding event on the web, celebrating the hard working and dedicated mod community (see this years releases). For the next 30 days your votes are going to decide this years winners in the best upcoming and released categories. We shall also share our Editors Choice picks at the end of the December. Here is how it works.
Phase 1 - Nominations Begin
For the next 10 days, every mod profile (see our year in review) on the site has a voting booth. Just click the big "vote now" button to show your love and help get your favorite mods into the TOP 100.
Phase 2 - The TOP 100
After nominations have been tallied, the TOP 100 will be unveiled on the 11th of December and a final round of voting begins for 10 days to determine the 2015 victor.
Phase 3 - Mod of the Year 2015 Revealed
Cue the drumroll, because just around Christmas we are going to stop basting the turkey and surprise you by announcing the 2015 winners.

Every member from the community who votes, has a chance to win a game from our #modlove collection. The more you participate, promote the awards and encourage your friends to vote the better your chance. This includes (+ Total War DLC):
In addition to this the winning mod teams might be eligible to win a 1,000,000 impression ad campaign worth $30,000 as well as a custom engraved 2015 MOTY pocket watch, thanks to Eurogamer, VG247 and Rock Paper Shotgun.

I hope the **** doesnt get cheated like last time. Hopefully this year will be good.
Funnily enough, ETS2MP didn't cheat. You can tell by the simple fact that we have over 6000 concurrent players at times recently like an hour ago, over 600,000 registered users since October last year and much more.
I honestly don't think it was cheated.
I think he means lots of non-active users who either voted without registration or registered only to vote then disappeared. Not the best way to win but I get it. That can happen with any Skyrim mod as well. Its not so much whether the mod 'cheated' but that it felt rather odd for it to get top spot just because it introduces muliplayer.
Cool initiative. Gotta love my favorite game, STALKER, being on there! Loads and loads of people who really need to try it out, both vanilla as with some sprinkles on top!
STALKER can beat a lot of games of its genre out of the water. But, like every game, they all have its flaws, but its my most favorite Post Apoc FPS

Vanilla STALKER is absolute garbage. I played for about 10 minutes, and had I not found out about mods, I would have never played again. Now it is my favorite game of all time. Thank you Misery and STALKER complete :)

It's often down as low as $5USD on Steam due to the seasonal sales and was that low last weekend but will probably drop again for Christmas if Steam is any way to justify it.
I wouldn't have a clue this year, not tried many mods. Anyone got any ideas what might win it?

Personally I just want people to play Resistance and Liberation, so underrated. I remember it being ridiculously fun with players, even though it's a bit buggy, it all works pretty well, still.
