Then i saw it's steam only...
You can grab Shadowrun Returns PC/Mac/Linux on GOG as well as Humble Store both DRM-FREE. There is also a Android and IOS version that can be purchased through their digital stores.
this game is open world?
No, but it does a good job of feeling like it. You're mostly just escorted from quest to quest. There's a nice amount of exploration too, so it's not an issue imo. It's a great game.
I can't remember, did they ever say it was going to be open-world, or at least semi-open?

Pre-ordered it on June 23 on Steam, then they announced it was coming out on July 25th instead...still worth it.
