Halo: Combat Evolved
First Person ShooterHALO is one FPS that really did introduce many new gameplay elements. It offers all that is said below and the modifications already in development look...
Shadowrun is an intense multi-player focussed FPS experience that rewards cleverness and split-second improvisation through a unique combination of modern weapons, ancient magic and advanced technology.
The combination of ancient magic, high technology and deadly weapons opens up new tactical possibilities for the player. Find yourself behind enemy lines, separated from your team? Teleport up through the ceiling to the roof then glide over to join your teammates. Or maybe use enhanced vision to find your enemies on the other side of a wall, turn the corner, toss a couple grenades, then once they notice you turn into smoke and walk off invulnerable to their weapons. Or just summon a minion to attack them up close while you stand back with a sniper rifle.

Like I said back in '08, there are still people playing it, even with no support or DLC, so it must be pretty good if that's the case.
You can now see more info over at the Games for Windows forums as well as the Xbox forums

I bought the game for 10 bucks but i dont have Vista... I have windows XP
Can I find a way to play the game (with the multiplayer)
Please help me
Thank you
Really fun game. Lots of strategy involved, still fairly large player base (not surprising since it's PC/360 cross platform)...just too bad developer Fasa is closed, so no new content and since it's Windows Live no mods. Other than that, you can get this game pretty cheap on either PC or 360. Definitely worth the buy.
Great game! Too bad there arn't any mods for it.
This game is still being played by many.
It may have done poorly with the critics, but those who have taken the time to play it all agree it is the most well balanced multiplayer game to date.
It may not have any support, and it does have some bugs, but all who play this game have agreed these are acceptable nuisances.
It's only real drawbacks, a steep learning curve, and no DLC.
