Too many choices, yet not enough. I'm voting for one of my old favorites that isn't out yet, but has some kickass demo stuff.

It's strange that realy old mod's that have either been released for years, or discontinue years ago are still able to be voted for in these awards, & some of them collect quite a number of votes.
Surely this has to be looked into, as after all this is the Mod Of The Year Awards, & not the Mod Of The Decade.
It would be a lot better if awards were confined to mods that had been released in the past year, or mods that are still active.
Just a thought......;)

As the project manager on "The Way", a small HL2 mod released this year, it does seem unfair IMO to be jugded against mods from 2006 and older.
My vote goes to all the Underdog releases out there! I'm sure mods like "The Way" and "FLIPSIDE" will have no chance against the big hype machines of the 1000+ FPS mods out there.
All I have is hope ... :)
No don't get me wrong, if a mods still being worked on, even after years of work then the mod should still be eligable for votes.
No, what I'm talking about is thoughs mods that were finished or released years past & old dead ones that nobody is working on anymore.
But you'd be amazed at the amount of votes that some of these mods are still getting, & a lot of modders only cast one vote, so it's a vote waisted in my opinion.
After all as Aeneas2020 rightly said, would wouldn't give a 2007 OSCAR to a movie that was made in 1980 would you?

Everybody vote for PARANOIA mod! It is very good mod! It was totally awesome experience, something far different from other mods. It really should be MotY 2007.
An old favourite of mine.
I don't vote for mods that aren't out yet, since I don't truly know if they're good or not.
I'll vote for a mod that hasn't been released yet as you can often see how much work has been put into a mod just by looking a the screenshots, & weither that mod turns out to be crap or not, it's still worth a vote if you think that a lot of hard work has been put into it in my opinion.
