It works like this, i released the final to be done with the damn thing so i could actually hang out with my girlfriend, my friends and my cat while i ate normal people food and actually saw the sun.
i didnt want to sit in front of the computer anymore in my boxers drinking copious amounts of caprisuns (you have no idea how much gets done int he world under these conditions) and eating whatever the hell i could find in the fridge that would afford me a super short cook time so i could get back to blowing shit to pieces.
so i was excited....i was like...its finally finished, its finally done, we can all go home and relax and take it easy and...
i found a few fucking problems. and it pissed me right off.
theres some missing frames, theres some shrapnel that sucks...theres like 6 other things that i have fixed on my own personal version (and added some pretty sweet, pretty minor stuff) and im on the fence like "should i drop it, should i wait til brutal 20?"
so heres what im going to do, i probably wont get a lot of feedback but if anyone would like a "patch" for the "final" lemme know...because as a final it completely sucked.
but right now im going to make the decision to sit on it until brutal doom 20 comes out (if it comes out) that way everyone is already waiting for a new version and i can og "POW SUCKERS...brand new stuff!"
so thats what im going with.
if anyone has any other feedback lemme know, if you havent played it and like doom and like a bunch of guns (AND CAN IGNORE THE FACT THAT ITS CALL OF DUTY BECAUSE THE ONLY SIMILARY IT HAS IS THE GUNS SO STOP NOT DOWNLOADED STUFF BECAUSE OF PRESUMPTION AND BECAUSE YOURE A DICK) and you like throwing a frag grenade at someones head and have it smash it followed by blowing up an entire room of imps.
the new one will contain new shrapnel effects, new bullet crash effects, new sounds, new physics, new everything besides what youve come to know and love. just spiced up. ill tell you right now the shrapnel effets are super sick, the entire room lights up with flack....its radical.
anyway, if you have palyed it just chill and be patient, if you havent...give it a download and lemme know what you think.
Do what you want, anyway you are cool. You've made a really good mod so you can take a break. Waiting for the Brutal DOOM 20 is a good choice.
im just gonna say thank you and youre ****** cool haha, thanks for the support. I feel bad dropping something that isnt nearly as good as say enjays or weasels but i think ill just stick it out, nobody has complained about the missing sprites so hopefully thatll keep going hahaha.

Take whatever time you need as you've earned it at least a dozen times over. You've already done an insane amount of incredible work on BD over the years.
Honestly most major studios don't support their product this well.

Release it all at once, no rush mate. Still hoping for an update on the Arsenal MOD sometime in the future once it's finished though. :-P

You should make an implosion type of gun.
If you choose not to release BD20, then I will be completely satisfied with BD9. If you want to release BD20, then I will humbly play it. If you have things to do in your life, then please do it. Like what OrdinM1 said, most studios don't even support their product very long.
