S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Lost Alpha
has been released!
Here is our updated XRay Engine SDK, which we created especially for Lost Alpha project. A lot has been added, fixed and changed, but for a complete changes list, navigate to the "documents" directory or read it here. We also included the "written" part of our knowledge base with this SDK, see the documentation also in the "documents" directory.
We included several test scenes, and 4 full single player levels with this SDK. For support, please visit www.dezowave.com forums and gsc-gameworld forums.

Well done guys, I wonder what will happen now this has been released, even in beta form I am sure something cool will be made, congrats, I must say I am loving Lost Alpha as I play it.
Will this help modders fix the performance issues in LA?

We will release more objects soon for the sdk,just did not want to raise the size of the installer that much, its already big enough.
Is there a website we can go to to find a reference of all the mini-mods people have made for Lost Alpha?
Does this mean Dezowave won't update Lost Alpha anymore? And where can we download a single file of the full game latest version? I just don't want to download the main, then 4 parts.

4th patch is still in works, but we promised to release the sdk we used to make LA as well.
Afaik there isn't any single file to download yet, but after the 4th patch is released, we will create an updated and patched Lost Alpha installer, which will contain all the previous patches. It will be big to download though.

I just hope that someone will make mod that increases performance with a lil bit lowering of texture quailty
