And Churchbells chimed across the land for Republic at War went Gold on 6/4/2011. 4 years in the making we are finally here. Despite lost files, rogue staff, sickness, tragedies, missing computers, missing hard-drives, and other issues you can only imagine we are finally here. With accusations of the project being "vaporware", and a "hoax", we are finally here. We hope you all enjoy what I have put into this project. I have put countless hours and a lot of love into this in order to achieve what I feel is my vision of the Clone Wars.
Despite all of this being listed in the manual I want to thank personally a handful of people who have really gone over the top with assisting me. Warb Null who joined our staff ages ago now has really been a great help. He has been integral to this project and will remain so for the future. So Warb thank you all your work on this.Sidious Invader came out of retirment to assist with RaW. This is a person who has very little personal time available but came through in the end. Thank You SI! Some of our testers have gone out of their way to assist. KillerHurdz has been like my right hand (although Katy wishes she was my right hand :p ). Killer has personally tested a insane amount of files and fixes and offered countless suggestions that we have implemented. He has become so ingrained into this project I have asked him to become perma staff with us for our future work. Katy_X, General Tantor, Tonarion, and all the testers have been a BIG help. All of them have offered some great ideas and helped immensely. I wish I could list all of them in this article but they know who they are and all of them are listed in the mods manual. I am hoping all of them stick around for future work on the expansions and future projects.
On a lighter more personal note there have been a few people who I am glad to call friends. Shimrra from the UEAW team who chatted with me and kicked ideas around with me during many a long day of work, Jedi Counsular from the SOTE team who did some work on this project and also made himself available for idea swapping as well as helping me as staff on EEAW. Anakin Slavenwalker our German translator, and German PR lead has done a ton of work making this project available for our German players and fans. Rissien, and Antilles, both testers and staff on EEAW and who have been with me since before I can remember have been great friends and a great help. Also, I would like to thank Swgbex and Bryant from IA2. I have known these guys since the beginning and they are great friends and this project would not be here if it were not for them. I would also like to thank Nomada Firefox from the Alliance Mod who despite our sometimes creative differences offered assistance and helped me troubleshoot many times, and last but not least I would like to thank Kalo and Codeuser. Both of them were with me in the beginning. Codeuser left to finish his commitments to the TR team and his work on that project has been amazing. Code, despite our philosophical differences I am glad to have had your help on this project. I hope all of you fans repay my thanks by supporting all of the above listed mods which can all be found right here on ModDB.
The project is being transferred to ModDB as we speak. Please make sure when you download the file to READ the install guide in included in the file. It will be able to address all your concerns with Gold Pack, Steam, 64Bit OS's, etc. Please make sure you do NOT post issues here as with all the posting they will get missed. Head over to Everythingeaw.com to post questions concerns etc.
Again do not forget that we are not done. Far from it. With 3 expansions planned and 3 Ala-Carte addon's we have much work to do still. Stay Tuned for the Easter Egg Hunt and enjoy the mod. I hope to see you all online so I can pwn you with my secret knowledge of the mod.
Thank you all!!!. You guys have been a blast to work for and to interact with. There have been some memorable moments here and some really comical moments and statements made as well. So thanks!!!
