212th Attack Battalion image - Republic at War mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.
The 212th off load on Rodia to liberate the locals from Confederate control.

Do different battalions/legions have any differences from standard troopers aside from the way they look?
I would think the airborne would have special abilities such as call in reinforcements and stuff, and maybe the 501st would be able to take out jedi establishments better?

i might be crazy but i see this in every picture with clones in it, the helmets are always darker than the armor and sometimes its the same with arms.
No I think I see it, the normal clone helmets seem very grayish rather than white like their armor. But I think its just the lighting

it would be cool to have a squad of paratroopers that could be droped from orbit
supers and clones with jetpacks, but only a single suad though

and also it would be cool if the sky corps or the paratroppers could land anywhere on the battlefield
