More weapons, props, and vehicles. A working HUD, objective systems, ship boarding, projectile, Muzzlefire, and Sound FX, etc. Things are actually fun ingame now. :) A victory in itself. So here's the update as we gear up for Phase 2 of MSU. The Ground map Errah is more or less finished and playable. (Screenshots courtesy of ikarus, SkyWay, and Strangelet):

Look freaking brilliant... top update guys....
Reminds a little of Homeworld 2, concerning lighting and fog volumes. I think that's kind of what you are looking for and I like this style.
I'm much impressed with your concept art and wonder: Is it the same Peter Milligan, who draws for you, who worked on various films and for Marvel? You really can't paint much better with PS than what he shows.
I think the crosshairs are obstructing the view. Since they are all round, you can't really tell what's radar, crosshair, or status from far. Change shapes, or at least get rid of the central crosshair and make it appear only when you're aiming.
This HUD is by far a mockup at the moment. It will get smaller and nicer as we move forward
Ah no. As far as I know, it's a different Pete Milligan that we have from the Marvel dude. :P
And to clarify it is not a 'mockup' (as that would imply being non-functional). It IS functional, though yes, mostly temporary for now. Screen scaling hasn't yet been accounted for.
Some of the core members of the team have modded Homeworld.
Crosshairs are onscreen in all of those shots because you always have a weapon under your control. The inner circle of the two appears when your camera is within the turret's field of view. Stock UT3 behaviour :)
Look insane, Brilliant work, sincerely.
Id Love to see this stuff in action, maybe a video of some sort guys? the objectives muzzle flash and how the HUD changes whilst ingame would be nice to see :) IE; when you are shot the lifebar going down for example, whats next? custom movement animations?
When do we get a playable beta?
Jan 2009 for you PC users.
Off Topic, Hey mr.Ugly_pants i see you on epic forums, unfortunately Im banned there....i gave over 800 posts of feedback in 2 accounts lmao and now i have to veiw the site on a proxy server (cant make new account) i enjoy seeing you there still giving feedback and such.
Oh my... I... This is exceptional stuff guys. Aside from the HUD stuff that's already been mentioned and the ridiculously small weapon sizes (which I hope isn't the case in game?)... this is just awesome.
lol.
and thanks
really impressive.
