Angels Fall First: Planetstorm is an objective-based assault game fought both in space and on the ground. Featuring totally original art and completely new game types, we take you from flying gigantic capital ships, piloting fighters, and manning turrets to the traditional vehicular and infantry combat, both planet-side and inside the starships themselves. At your command are more than two dozen ships and vehicles, including all original weaponry, 3 maps with full bot support, two custom characters, with more on the way. It's a bug- the HUD hasn't scaled down to the 800x600 windowed res this player was using. Check the widescreen shots that were originally 1680x1050 for how it should be.

Regardless, it will all get redone in a minimalistic style after Phase 2 anyway. This is just for basic functionality ;)

i think you should make it look as if the player is looking though a helmert. and as if the hud was projected into it like in fighter planes.

Ya. That's our aim basically, since the player helmets cover the entire head (including the eyes), all visual input is from microcameras built into the helmet itself.

And really, don't worry 'bout the HUD. It's all temporary for now. :) And this was played in lowres for bughunting purposes which revealed the HUD scaling issues too.

maybe you should have scanlines ;) sort of like its visual input being relayed into the wearer of the helmet.
