Are you going to do a LP of this mod? I would honestly be humbled if you did.

Will the reload sounds be replaced with the correct ones?

If you know of any ones that are better than the current ones, I'll add them. I'm not exactly good at finding reload sounds that sync properly, even though I've gone through 3-4 different sound mods.

As I understand, the overwhelming majority of weapons in the mod are based off or directly ported from LURK. Why not just use the sounds from it?

I already am using many of the reload sounds from LURK, but it seems that not all of them are synced properly. Weapon sounds are another story, I went through several sound mods and I am still not fully satisfied.

That seems like a pretty easy fix. They're all .oggs, right? Just open audacity and cut audio/empty space until it roughly fits. Out of curiosity, on what weapons does the audio not fit? I can't think of having a problem with desync'd audio in LURK (but I only played 1.1).

Not as easy as it seems, you have to be in-game to see if the audio syncs, and truthfully, I am not all that good at telling since I've probably done it so much that I don't really notice it.

You could help if you want.

Alright, sure
Where do I start?

First find the files in question from the weapon config file that uses that sound, so if it's a reload sound, you would find the respective config in config/weapons, and scroll down in the config file to the sounds portion, most of them are abbreviated with snd_ before them.

When you edit them they need to be saved as a single channel mono .ogg

Then you find the filepath the that particular sound file, open it in audacity, and try to trim it to your liking, then load up the game and see if they sync.

I meant more, which weapons should I start with; you, I figure, would know which weapons are most used in the mod.

Muito bom os novos sons. Não gostei do som da explosão da granada. Seu mod é mto bom.
