Hi dude. All these years later and yours is the only proper animated magazine mod in the entire STALKER universe, and potentially in all of video games. As a total green non expert, do I stand any chance of figuring out a way to recreate what you did in the modern Xray engine (like in anomaly mod for example?). Honestly, it was one of the most immersive things I have ever experienced in a game.

If there's any way to port it over I would literally hire you to do it. These menu based options are just so tedious and lack immersion. I can't even work out which animation file is the reload one so I doubt I could even figure it out with help.

Like right now as far as I can see, you're the only human being to ever have made an animated magazine reload system in any video game, which is quite a trip.

If you ever considered bringing the magazine animations into modern stalker I'd literally happily pay you for the time, it would be money well spent as far as I'm concerned!

If not, would you gfrant me permission to port it if I ever got it to work?

The thing about ZOA's anims is that there is a huge mishmash of vanilla stalker arm anims vs KingFriday's redone arm texture anims and it always ****** me off, I really should have just put the work into learning to do animations myself and fixing all of that and carrying over that work into Anomaly.

Hello Fatal, I contacted Grok regarding a merge with your Bullet pen mod, I asked him if he could merge your mod with some modifications, I really like your idea for increased K_AP values, but some are a little of, like your world destroyer 7n22 which I remember had about k_ap= 2.2 and would pierce literally everything like 2+meters of Concrete :D
My idea would be like 0.6 for 7n6, 0.7 for 7n10 and 0.9 for 7n22, 0.65 for 7.62x39 (because fmj) and about 0.8 for 7.62x51 (fmj).
These are just my tweaks, if you like you can implement some of those.
Me and the rest of the Stalker Community are Verry happy about the Work you and the other modders put into it, looking forward for more :)

Sure, absolutely, a mod that merges Grok's armor values with my barrier penetration values is exactly what I wanted to do but gave up on for a while. It would be the best of both worlds.

Hey man, don´t want to steal your time, but i´ve got a problem with ZoA installation : got that 5.6 Gb file from moddb, SoC is patched to 1.006 how recommended in the readme. Got that patch 13 and the allspawn fix.

But if i start Soc it´s still 1.006 vanilla, where is the problem ? Maybe you got a few minutes to answer ?

Good day,

I posted on the forums a while back, but with no response, so I decided to go for the source. First off, as I'm sure you've heard many times...love the mod. However I'm encountering a slightly annoying problem: NPCs become non responsive. While this makes life a bit easier as you walk up and deal with them execution style, it does defeat the purpose of ZOA, I think. Running 1.07.2 with SOC 1.0006. Oh and also having a few random CTDs, but can't correlate anything off of those. Thanks for the help.

Problem when giving x18 documents to barkeep. I got the (always crash) error about missing model:
gamedata\meshes\weapons-new\ heckler_und_koch\hk_g3\ hensoldt_scope.ogf

Turns out there is not even a folder named heckler_und_koch in the models folder...

I just copied the acog scope ogf to that location and renamed it to hensoldt_scope.ogf...Fixed the crash but other people might not have the experience to do so.
