Twin Suns Foundation is a great organization, with a noble goal, and are on a quest just like YVaW to help keep the EU alive for all.
The Twin Suns Foundation is an Arizona-based non-profit, and is a tax exempt organization formed in June of 2016, following the success of the Star Wars Expanded Universe Billboard Project. The organization was founded by Star Wars fans who saw the value in encouraging others to enjoy Star Wars the way they have for many years. Currently it is run by three board members and nine additional volunteers from all around the world, many of whom were involved in the Star Wars Expanded Universe Billboard project. That project resulted in a billboard going up for a month with a message to Lucasfilm employees, just down the street from Lucasfilm HQ in San Francisco back in April 2016. (A quick search for Expanded Universe Billboard online would pull up plenty of articles!)
Twin Suns Foundation has been at the center of many efforts on behalf of the Expanded Universe Movement since 2016 and, most recently, the Foundation was invited to Star Wars Celebration Orlando 2017 by Lucasfilm to host a fan table. While there we were able to collect quite a few Star Wars Legends books and ended up donating them all to a Children's hospital in Orlando. We were also able to promote the Expanded Universe Movement to thousands of fans, both new and old.
Additionally, the foundation recently announced a new wing of the organization, the Ryn Network. The Ryn Network consists of volunteers approved by the foundation to serve as individuals who collect Expanded Universe/Legends book donations (in good shape) and donate them to public libraries, children's hospitals, little free libraries and other similar places. The network currently has four locations and is in a bit of a test phase. (Three locations are in the U.S. and one is in Australia.) We plan on opening additional donation locations once we are confident any kinks in the system are worked out!
Today Twin Suns Foundation's primary goal is promoting literacy around the world and does so by donating Star Wars Legends books. However it also serves as a professional voice for the Expanded Universe Movement and embraces the Movement's goal of getting an official continuation to the Legends timeline that will run concurrent with, but separate from, the new Disney timeline.

First time I've honestly heard of this movement and Im glad it exists. Theres nothing wrong with having two separate universes
Most major franchises have split story lines or a "multiverse". Marvel, DC, Star Trek, etc... It only makes sense. I mean, there is still a lot of money to be made in the old EU with game sequels, books and more.
Heck, they could even write it in as the EU being a vision in the Force of one possible future... Then everything changed when Snoke came out of hiding.
Or maybe Luke had a vision of the future regarding Han and Leia's son falling to the dark side. They tried to shape events to change that...but it happened anyway. So the events leading to that point were different but the result was the same. A "destiny" kind of thing.
