Description
A rather unique weapon featured mostly on large capital ships, the Heavy Artillery Turret has a slower reload time than other turbolaser weapons and fires a slower moving projectile that when it hits its target, explodes causing area damage. The weapon is not very good vs ships smaller than a light cruiser in size, but is rather used more effectively to wipe out weapon banks on larger capitals ships.
It is about the same size as the Heavy Turbolaser turret for comparison
What ships could we possibly see these bad boys on?
The executor class has several but they can most prominently be seen on the Corellian Destroyer
