The Corellian Modular Carrier
A specialized warship, cruiser sized, designed for assault missions. The CMC was designed to be easily adaptable and to perform within invasion fleets. It featured 2 ventral mounted heavy dual turbolaser turrets and a sizeable hanger for launching a variety of assault craft.
If the Pirate Min has indeed managed to acquire some of these ships, he would certainly be considered more of a threat than just a myth told at backwater cantinas...

It's the Modified Taskforce Cruiser from the very great Dark Empire comics. That's why you said "a strange fleet of ships of a type not seen since the First Battle of Dac in the days of the Dark Empire..." I suppose. Both, the ship and the battle, are featured in that comic. Great work on that model, the details are astonishing.
