Description
So, just to remind everyone, we are using the Victory MK3 as our default upgraded Victory Star Destroyer for all Victorys in the game. Upgrades include replacing top turrets with Octuple turbo lasers turrets, 3 main engines with 4 thrusters instead of 2 and 2, ion weaponry from the Vic2 and now including 8 proton torpedo launchers.
The Admiral Ackbar is a late war minor hero unit that features a massive dual heavy long range turbolaser, the same type seen on the Mandator SSD
so its an overpowered ish small cruiser? ok
pretty much, nothing too special, but we needed to add it.
I am compiling a planet/ship building list, and including all the minor heroes and where they will be built. When I come across a missing ship, i will create it and post a render
this is a legends mod so it should feature everything from the time period to honour it so i respect your decisions :)
I hate to ask but.... will you be adding the blue diver, sorry if u hate unit suggestions i just is curious.
It's in, the last time I checked. You'll have to go back quite a ways though

Is it just me or does this look a lot like Jeroenimo's/ Arvis' Victory-class?
It is, with edits made by me.
Jeroenimo gave me all his ships years ago, we have enhanced them with additional details and our standardized turrets.

This ship intrigues me. It is realistic, coherent, many details. I always thought he had the drawing star wars rebel and had been made by LucasArts. But no !! beautiful model :)

You guys are not including the VSD 1 and 2? There is several cases of the 1 and 2 being used at this time. Like one IR VSD 2 that participated in the battle of Borosk i think it was and several VSD 1 that showed up in the Second GCW. I would understand if you guys didn't want to make them buildable, but is there any chance we will see some VSD 1 and VSD 2 as well worn minor hero ships?
I've already asked them about this but they said no. If you have the knowledge however, you could transform the armament to reflect a VSD I or II.

Ya i saw the description and i figured that meant they were not buildable, but i was wondering if that ruled out hero ships since some Hero ships are unique. I just was thinking about those minor hero ships you guys showed a few months ago that were unique like the lancer frigate with a hangar and repair ability.
Don't misunderstand me though I love the VSD III i just like to see those well worn veteran ships that have been serving for awile.

Oh ok. what ship is Ackbar in command of for the mod? I cant remember what he was using at this point. Wasnt it the SSD Guardian? or was that the end of the GCW only.
Ackbar was not in a vessel at the time due to his old age, he was the Fleet Director of strategy.
I have to ask, will Admiral Nek Bwua'tu be the hero behind this VSD or will he have a different ship?
because he didn't take command of the AA until after the vong war, we will have him in command of a unnamed Heavy Bothan Assault Carrier

This thing looks very angry. I love it. I would love to field a few of these in my fleet. But only the New Republic, Hutts and Vong are available. If I can find a way to use these down the road in skirmish I will die happy.
