The Xenoforce Reborn mod takes the classic Xenoforce mod from CNC Generals and re-invisions it on the CNC3 engine with new units and new designs. The new armies that are currently scheduled to be in the mod are the Earth Federation, ZEON, the Invid, and the Earth Robotech Defense Force. We also have heavily modified the original CNC3 armies, giving the GDI, NOD, and Scrin a much more dynamic gameplay experience. This mod is NOT FOR PROFIT and NON-commercial based.
And this is why you do NOT anger people who live above you, you never know WHAT they will drop on your head.... I guess I shouldn't have made fun of Zeons mom last week. :)
In all seriousness when playing as AW you have a lot of things going for you. You can build newtypes, you can mass produce gundams, you can mass produce SAT CANNONS (trust me, this is great when you can use them). So why would you NOT want to play as AW?
Because after a random ammount of time (at least 20 minutes though) ZEON is going to stick it's nose in AW's business and drop a colony onto the battlefield. Will it hit your base? Who knows? (in this case it was spot on, but thats because I coded it that way for the pic) It may hit your base or your opponents or both or miss both, the point is you don't know. AW is all about speed and your going to want to be fast to win the game before this happens.
Oh, and there is a very good reason WHY Zeon is interfearing in AW's battles. This has two points to it.
1) In the Gundam X Anime the war starts with the Space Revolutionary Force (AW's Zeon or SEEDs Zaft) dropping hundereds of colonies onto the earth, so it fits with the feel of Gundam X that Zeon would do this.
2) In our story AW is the space force of the Earth Federation, that is their primary useage. They are based from a secret Lunar Base and typically focus themselves on dealing with other space related threats. This is why many of their units are by default fast units or designed to attach to another unit for additional speed. And their primary threat in space is Zeon.
Wow, I guess Scrin is Screwed XD
I wouldn't say that. I'm still working on the blast radius/effect/after effect of the drop, but it seems to work well. At the moment it doesn't seem to be THAT big of a threat. Out of 5 drops it only hit my own base once, the other times it hits empty space.
LoL, I meant the Space Force hitting it's enemies hard and fast, it's amazing that Scrin would be able to make onto the planet, but the previous comment was me playing along with your funny entertaining Description that you posted with this pic. Can't wait to try out the chaos that this mod will bring. :)
Heh. When it comes to the Scrin and their situation they have other things to worry about than some silly humans in tin cans floating around in space. Or story with the Scrin will revolve around the Scrin and the Invid fighting a multi-century war and the Scrin despratly needing the Tiberium to win their war.
Working on Zeon now?
Dare them to drop that on Temple Prime...
Kane and Nod Forces will be gone for now, but that was funny. XD
No, I'm not working on Zeon now. This is still part of AW. I'm just showing that Zeon and AW interfear in each others battles.
When will you start working on Robotech?
Invid is after SEED, then Zeon then RDF/Southern Cross/REF.
so are you going to make the colony drop blast radius the same as that of NOD's Nukes or are going to make it smaller then that
but by how many times bigger is the blast radius of colony drop than the NOD Nuke Blast Radius?
Um, I really can't say. Its between 2.5 and 3 times depending on where the debris falls. If it all falls on one side of the colony the other side will survive. It can be quite the mess lol.
Um.... Larger than that. This has to be a serious threat, if it was just a nuke who would be afraid?
Everyone. Nukes are giant what we get in games labeled as nukes are no where near as powerful as real nukes.
I kinda hoped you guys would have left this out of the game
Why? Gundam AW's entire tipping point was the massive colony drop. We just brought this in. Remember Smoth, the player doesn't have any control over this. Sometimes you get 2 or 3 dropped in, sometimes none. Sometimes it hits your base, a lot of times hit hits other areas of the map that have nothing on them. I've seen it hit outside my own base once and in the back half of my enemies base once. On smaller maps it hardly ever happens. It's the nature of the beast. :)
Question will zeon be based on 0079 and 0083 canon?
Zeon will be based from 0079 to 0093 just like EF-UC, thats the plan anyways.
