The Xenoforce Reborn mod takes the classic Xenoforce mod from CNC Generals and re-invisions it on the CNC3 engine with new units and new designs. The new armies that are currently scheduled to be in the mod are the Earth Federation, ZEON, the Invid, and the Earth Robotech Defense Force. We also have heavily modified the original CNC3 armies, giving the GDI, NOD, and Scrin a much more dynamic gameplay experience. This mod is NOT FOR PROFIT and NON-commercial based.
While Doug is play-testing the next release candidate he reminded me that one thing we needed to do before the release tomorrow was the UC Defenses. They just never seemed right and the last version we posted up had been designed around adding mobile suit teams in as a defense.
That attempt wasn't the best, it seemed like it never worked right. But here is a pic of the new defense setup, mobile suits again with a new "radar tank" that has been set up defensively. This new setup seems to work every time, and as you can see the mobile suits also get the Gundam Bonus's which could be used to set up a VERY interesting design if we wish to take it deeper.
I mean think about it. In the pic you see I'm using RX77D Defensive Teams that Gundam Alex has updated to RX77D-Heavy Arm versions which have grenade launchers on them as well as the main cannons. That makes these things great anti-ground defenses.
But if we set it up with like the RG-79's and the RX78 updates them to give them their air call in support, that could end up making the Defensive setup just as important and interesting as the Offensive setup when it comes to choosing your gundam!
