The Xenoforce Reborn mod takes the classic Xenoforce mod from CNC Generals and re-invisions it on the CNC3 engine with new units and new designs. The new armies that are currently scheduled to be in the mod are the Earth Federation, ZEON, the Invid, and the Earth Robotech Defense Force. We also have heavily modified the original CNC3 armies, giving the GDI, NOD, and Scrin a much more dynamic gameplay experience. This mod is NOT FOR PROFIT and NON-commercial based.

Dumb rockets means an unguided that fires straight ahead, the missiles can hit any and the BBM is also used against infantry.

BBM? I don't know what that is referring to.

As for the differences, what we're doing it pretty much this.

DR or Dumb Rockets can miss their target and only good against ground targets.

TOW Rockets can hit ground or air, still a rocket, always hit target.

Missiles can be designed to either hit air OR ground and typically are particularly useful when used in the way they were designed. A Missile designed to damage structures will not have a blast radius but is powerful against structures. One designed to do massive blast damage will do just that, but will not be as effective against structures. One designed to kill air units (like the Firehawks missiles) will be very effective against all air units (vrs rockets that can hit air which do ok damage).

Basically, it's a "Jack of all trades" vrs "Master of one" situation.

Ah. Duh me. Lol. Bunker Busters won't do much damage to infantry, firing an expensive missile at a lowly infantry unit doesn't make much since to me. Maybe I should rename it Structure Buster Missiles?

Typically, the term "Bunker Buster" means it will penetrate a hardened structure and wipe out anything inside. I used to build "penetrators" when I was in the USAF. They had the oddity of actually leaving the building standing (hardened ones, non-hardened would get wiped out) but the inside was completely destroyed and useless.

Hmm, good to know. I'll have to think on it. I'll probably rename it structure buster missiles.

what a bout those factions that are promised in the summary like the Earth Federation, the Zeon, the Invid and the Earth Robotech Defense Force. are you guys no longer going to the almost same kind of thing that you did to the Command & Conquer Generals game? i have not even seen any thing for either the Zeon, the Invid, or the Earth Robotech Defense Force. when are you guys going to start working on the Zeon, Invid and Earth Robotech Defense Force Factions? also when are you guys going to develop new sounds for the mobile suits because they sound way too much like the units from the original three factions?

Description

The Titan tank is not equipped with rockets, it's equipped with bunker buster missiles. These special missiles are long range and specially designed to do double damage vrs structures. On a direct basis the Titan is stronger than a Preditor, but a fully upgraded Preditor is just as good as a Titan at a cheaper cost. This helps give the Titan a good secondary roll and also gives players a reason to keep building them once their early game task of frontline tank is replaced by supped up Preditors and Mammoths. The thick white smoke again is used to let a player know that these are missiles and not rockets.

Missiles vrs Rockets : Rockets can have TOW (Targeting On Weapon) tech in them allowing them to hit land or ground targets or be Dumb Rockets meaning that they are good against ground targets but don't always hit. Missiles will be good against either ground OR air targets not both, have a much greater range, and have some sort of special bonus ability be it stronger damage output, secondary damage type, or massive blast radius's. For these reasons its important that Missiles don't look like Rockets when fired.
