The Xenoforce Reborn mod takes the classic Xenoforce mod from CNC Generals and re-invisions it on the CNC3 engine with new units and new designs. The new armies that are currently scheduled to be in the mod are the Earth Federation, ZEON, the Invid, and the Earth Robotech Defense Force. We also have heavily modified the original CNC3 armies, giving the GDI, NOD, and Scrin a much more dynamic gameplay experience. This mod is NOT FOR PROFIT and NON-commercial based.
So just to show that work is STILL being done what I have here is a 2 part beautiful thing.
1- The Kodiak now has an actual death animation instead of using the devastator warship death animation (which didn't look right at all).
2- When the Kodiak dies it crash's to the ground and becomes a wreckage (as you see in the pic) that can then be acquired.

I should also point out an interesting trial with this unit.
If NOD acquires it the units speed and attack speed is increased by 30% but the damage output is down by 40%. This is to show that NOD is more focused with speed than accurate kill shots.
If UC acquires it the health of the unit is increased by 30% but the attack rate is decreased by 30%. This is to show that with the UC they are more focused on sending power to the magnetic armor of the unit for survival than to the weapons.
Finally if Scrin get it the attack rate of the unit is decreased by 50% and the damage output is decreased by 20%. This is to show that the human tech is alien to the Scrin, they can use it but they are not adept at using it.
If this works in actual play I will take the next step and put some additional details/effects onto the unit so that its easy to see the "modified" Kodiaks in play. It does lead to an interesting additional level of play, where units that are capturable are modified to fit the force taking them. Think about Avatars with Rail Cannons or Juggernaughts with trip laz cannons...
Theres the way that you can post the video for the Kodiak Death Animation. It is known FRAPS that can run the program for recording games. To do this: run the FRAPS first, then run any game and activate screen capture. There is a guide that helps. Its only free, but it has limitation so you'll have to purchase it.
Yea, I know about fraps. I didn't even think about making a video of the death animation, I should probably do that lol. The point wasn't as much the death animation though (which is nice that its there I will admit) but that it crash's and becomes a husk that you can then get inside.
Not too shabby if I do say so myself. I've been conjuring up some funnel models in sketchup, I'll upload it if anyone wants to see it.
