UT40K: The Chosen Although 40K players and other Mod Teams may not have herd about us, we have in fact been going on, for quite a while. The fact that a ModDB page was never set up for us has only just been brought to light. We are a small but dedicated team, devoted to bringing the universe of Games Workshops Warhammer 40,000 to it's full glory, using the UT3 engine. While we have been toiling in the shadows, we have actually managed to release a Number of Public Betas over the last year and improve on them with each upgrade. We are devoted to remaining as close to the publish code rules as we possibly can, to the point where we have implemented both the JAM system, for the Terminator Assault Cannon, and a fully functional vehicle damage system, complete with Front, Side and Rear armour values and features all of the ways of disabling a vehicle (e.g. Crew Stunned, Weapon Destroyed, Immobilised and all the others) We have two mostly functional races available; The Imperium's...

Ok i've put UT40k on hold as far as the UDK build is concerned, whether i do another UDK build i truly doubt. But don't panic to soon, i've mentioned before that i"ll be porting UT40k to a new engine which i've been testing for a while, now i still can't give any info on the engine or even what it is but i've decided that with what little dev time i have i need to invest it into 1 project, so far i've got a lot of content in but it still needs lots more work ........

i"ve also re-build the Imperial City map which i still hope to flesh out with more deco like lights / fires / things like that. I also need to redo a lot of the textures to take full advantage of the new material/lighting systems.

i can't promise when i'll have a new build ready but i hope i'll have something playable when i'm allowed to start releasing and hopefully i'll be able to show some of the new features if only as pics/results soon

going alone with the port will also require that i more to a new site as its not really a UT3 mod any more so i may move it to the Indie section/partner of moddb but i'll post more info on that when the time comes.

There is a group working on Arma 3, thats probably the best choice for massive battles.

One of my ex devs told me about that person. He posted up on the arma 3 forums but hasn't sent anything since.
