Underhell is a Source Engine game developed by the Underhell Team in collaboration with We Create Stuff. Underhell Chapter 1 requires ONLY Source SDK Base 2007 installed. No Source game is required.
This is a Preview track, not the entire piece.
This is one of the possible multiple tracks that will play during infiltration/sneaky sequences.
The music system was designed in a way, so that each music track has 3 states : IDLE, ALERT and COMBAT.
Each "Music Group" will play accordingly, and fade in and out depending on what happens during the game.
Example : If IDLE02 is playing and you get spotted by the enemy, COMBAT02 will play, and once the enemy loses you or is eliminated, ALERT02 will play, and then slowly fade back to IDLE02.
Music Composed by Tom Stoffel.
Sounds like you're doing the music system similar to MGS's alert system.
I love Metal Gear Solid, If this is true than this is my new favorite mod of all time.
i like the system, its nothing groundbreaking but still neat!
What i don't like is this sample. Its not athmpospheric and the clap/snare sample is awful.
It's just not as good as hes previous stuff.
What are you referring to? It's nice sneaking song, but the mastering and arranging just isnt there. I just personally don't like it thats all (=
I love you.
your face isn't groundbreaking
I sorta agree. It needs a bit more mastering to it. The snare sounds pretty sick, just needs a bit of reeverb and pulled back a little bit.
A little bit of tweaks here and there and it will be as good as Tom Stoffel having sex with Hans Zimmer.
Nice. Looking forward for the release. Also, would this be the first time an interactive soundtrack has been used for a source game (Aside from Portal 2, I think it something similar to this whenever you would use a gel or a faith plate)?
Dat Bass....
SNEAK? WHAT DO YOU MEAN "SNEAK"?
Ah, when the music plays and such is based of MGS alert system?
"IDLE, ALERT and COMBAT"
