Will damage be reduced if shot in the chest aka body armor, right? I'm pretty sure it will be.

The damage in the chest and stomach varies depending on the armor type.

Mxthe is correct. Different armor will reduce damage. EX: Metal Plated helmet used by the German GSG 9 can take a sniper round, while the kevlar helmets, used by USA, would rip to shreds cause its not designed for 7.62 and larger rounds. It will be more like FPSs that require you to aim at a certain part. Such effects ingame, can be a game changer and make the player think twice before attacking.

The unprotected hitbox on the left looks like it needs to be moved up more, since you have the eyes and forehead blocked. Very cool idea though.

This should enhance gameplay somewhat, I think the end-product will be more similar to Half-Life 1 where enemies have different resistances to different weapons, something that was missing in the source port.

Also, dynamic resupply FTW:D

Dragon skin would be a choice of protection.

Description

[WIP]
We are currently experimenting with having various Hit Box sets, to enhance bullet detection precision for the multiple bodygroups available per model.

As you can see, the bodygroups effects aren't only esthetic, but they also affect gameplay.

Yes, the Helmet can be shot off, and it can even be picked up as an Item that gives armor to the player.
