Speaking about new units i would like to mention about IG.In my opinion "Stormsword" as well as "Stormlord" would nicely help IG to adapt of different situantions of battle.
Storm lord: tank with medium durability and meduim range, troop support, able to carry 1-2 IG squads, fast firing, deals bonus morale damage.

Stormsword: (can be armed with Hellhammer siege cannon or short ranged volcano cannon). With its siege cannon it can used as mobile powerful artilery with range of basilisks, and volcano cannon can be used as poweful AV weapon on medium/close distance

Dreadknights, and a mid tier tank/vehicle between the Chimeras/Rhinos and the Land Raiders for the Inquisition.
Maybe a Razorback with multiple upgrade paths, that'd be cool.
Greyknights with Stake/Purgatus Crossbows and Conversion Beamers!

I suppose it would be nice to see blight drones implemented, given that currently Nurglite armies don't really have anti-vehicle daemon stuff (no horrors!).

But if these were implemented...I'd wonder about balance. There are no daemonic machines of Slaanesh (such as the subjugator) about the place yet, nor of Tzeentch (silver tower etc). The brass scorpion is Khornate, as I understand the fluff, so that's covered. So it's a long shot but...this is a wish-list thread after all. :)

Function wise, I think you are looking for the Legatine Superiors. ;) Toughness rating of Terminators, but otherwise, SOB does not have anything in between as they are lady armies. ;)

These type of units are not modeled yet or made ingame by anyone, hence these are not to be in the mod until further notice.

Already in the mod

Blight Drones are a maybe. Stormswords are a yes. I'll try to get a Razorback for Inquisition, no guarantees, though.

I´d like to see these Tau units in the near future:
TAU-
Tiger Shark (Fighter-Bomber)

The Tiger Shark A-X-10/AX-2-2 Fighter-Bomber serves as a faster and more manouverable equivalent of the IG Marauder Bomber, but they lack the bomb payload of Imperium Aircraft. However, it does have some new goodies:
Features-
-Air-Deployed Drone Racks- The bomber can deploy a decent number of AI-controlled combat drones equipped with standard burst weapons.
-Amazing Weaponry Of Total D00M
-Defensive Manouvering System
-Attack Focused Variant-Drop Defensive Variant (Equipped with 2 deployable Remora Stealth Fighter Drones)

Manta Missile Destroyer/ Super Heavy Dropship

The Manta, more formally known as the Manta Missile Destroyer, is a super-heavy Tau spacecraft that is also the Tau Empire'sclosest equivalent to the Imperium of Man's Titans and OrkGargants.
Features-
-Large Transport Capability
-Full-Blown Attack Craft Functionality- Twin Railguns, 6 Ion Cannons, 16 Drone Controlled Burst Cannons (OMG), 10 Seeker Missiles. (Totally Bad-Ass!)
-Extremely Durable Compostion/Armour
-Advanced Defensive Systems
-Bristling aiming-assist equipment

Adding these BadBoys to the mod would be incredible ^^; aside the fact that they would give the Tau more options in their Late-Game Titan Countering strategies.

A Necron Cryptek. The Necrons version of a Psyker. Unlike Sorcerers and Librarians who use the Warp to destroy their foes, the Cryptek uses its mastery of Arcane Science to shift its allies out of reality or send his enemies to the blackness before Time began.

I'm thinking a secondary Command Unit (HQ) for the Necrons much like the Librarians to the Force Commander.
Necron Cryptek

i seen ZMS create actuall working Titan models Warlord & Emperor for his ZMS Mod for Dark Crusade. Could these be ported over with his permission?

Verrry nice indeed Jalhalla. While we're on the subject of psykers, what are peoples' thoughts on throwing a Weirdboy into the mix for da boyz?

Jan 6 2013, 9:39pm Anchor

A Weirdboy sure would add a few new strategic options for the Orks :)

I'd really like to see more tanks for IG, like the one suggested above (storlmlord, stormsword, but also deathstrike missile launcher, praetor assault launcher, macharius...) I have seen models of macharius and praetor and deathstrike somewhere for sure...

Jan 8 2013, 9:36am Anchor

@Lord_Doofus I know the Land Raiders are already in. What I meant there was that the Inquisition has no middle ground in the vehicle department between the 2 IFVs and the 2 Super Heavies.

@Deuce_Savage The ZMS titans are poorly textured and implemented. Emperor Titans are too big already to be honest. The Reaver is already pushing it, the Warlord is the only thing left I can see working slightly...but hey, it's not my call to make, just remember that the fallen Emperor titan map prop covers the entire map.

@hhhdan I last saw the Macharius on ZMS, I think I remember seeing the Praetor model on the UA Dev Tomb.

Since the Warlord and Emperor Titans would be too big, what about Knights?

These are mini-titans that can only mount one Titan-class weapon like the Vulcan Mega-Bolter or Volcano Cannon in addition to that giant chainsword.
They are bigger than a dreadnought but smaller than the Warhound Titan. I'd imagine that health mould be the same.
Lore states that the Knights act as support for their larger cousins, using their superior speed and mobility to crush any foe that poses a threat to the god-machines.

Sorry I couldn't find a better picture.:|

Jan 9 2013, 4:30am Anchor

Knights are good, but I honestly thought they were too obscure and old-looking compared to the rest of the new models. It'd be fine to have them, but wouldn't it be cooler if they were unique to one or two factions? Like say the Space Marines or the Inquisition. The Guard have loads of tanks at their disposal already.

Jan 9 2013, 11:43pm Anchor

necron crypteks would be cool, but idk if they need another abilitybomb hero... since the necron heroes dont technically level up the same way as other heroes, you could get divergent wargear options for auras on the cryptek as well as giving him various attacks, so he can support small groups of infantry for specific purposes like extra melee damage on necron warriors even! Or whatever other crazy idea the modders have.

Tyranid gargoyles, sky-slashers, or flying warriors to offset the air vehicles of other races. Does morale work for air squads? Strange question but I've never seen it done even. Grey knight stormravens could be an air option for daemonhunters as well, and all you'd have to do is shorten the thunderhawk, sounds simple until you have to redo the animation possibly.

For Tau! - oops! - Sarna.net You think Inquistors Daemon Hunters/Grey Knights could use alittle bit more guns? - then we R in for a real party!

That's about most of the IGs structures already by default in Stock, and still is in UA.

Would be pretty sweet if imperial guard squads could deploy sandbag walls for "light cover"

Jan 12 2013, 10:06am Anchor

or trenches!

Sandbags I believe were in the mod long ago for an ability casted by the Techpriests and Techmarine, I wonder what happened to those abilities, corrupted maybe? But I just noticed it today and I was like "oO"? Indeed it will be VERY COOL!!!

@Mighty Guy: The XV9 Hazard Suit is already in the mod, bro-sters. :3
