fresh install just says it failed to load the requested game (standard UA) and also I checked a file and something to do with a fatal data error for the new chaos ability and also it wont load anything, gonna just load up the old patch till it gets figured out
Please play with UA New Races for now. ^^ It will fix your problem with a hotfix coming.
new races doesn't work either as I couldn't get the other mods to work, if theres a hotfix coming I will reinstall the 1.85 which is still on my laptop and then wait for you guys to do your magic, (am really exited to get chap with term armour :)
You must install ALL standalone factions then. I can confirm the patch works. Now you must apply Tyranids, IDH, and Chaos Daemons 1.6 to your SS folder.

Can confirm that; once downloading all race mods, NTcore the Hotfix and making sure they are all in the right place the patch works fine (and I was having major problems with it)
For those wondering about Text CL, the patch file has the exact Changelog in the files.

Not that I complain, but you have a troian digged in. Everytime I instal this patch, my ativirus gets a bonner.
Is your antivirus MalwareBytes? Because I dug this up from an old forum post:
"According to Virustotal.com MalwareBytes alone doesn't like the 1.8.1 patch. No idea why.

Given I'm still using Inno Setup and pretty much the same script for the UA installers, it could be the same issue resurfacing.
I guess I could upload 1.85.5 on .7z format for the paranoid ones out there. I will NOT provide installation instructions for these, though. Already told you people how to extract a .7z to Soulstorm's install directory way too many times.

Hi, I've just got the new update 1.85.5, the hotfix that comes with it and also the NTcore executable and it's just not working anymore.
When launching Soulstorm.exe it asks for steam_api.dll.
What can I do? Thanks for the reply.
Ps: this addon is the best, great work, hadn't said it yet.
I took the old Soulstorm.exe and it works again. I don't have steam version, so ntcore's Soulstorm.exe doesn't work for me.

Is it just me or does the Warp Storm of the World doesn't feel like its worth its price?
Don't get me wrong the concept is really cool but it doesn't seem to, well... END the game as its namesake. Space Marines game ender feels more OP than CSM. Those summoned pillars get killed to easily too, I feel.
However, maybe I'm just not using it right and to its full potential haha

So a quick question: The Space Marine Win Button, I can't find it in game after going the research for it, is it a bug in the current version or do I need a fresh download?
The helmeted Chaos Lord in Terminator Armor permutations won't appear in-game...I've tried, MULTIPLE TIMES, to spawn it, but I only get the helmetless and horned helmetless variants...
The helmeted version still appears in the Army Painter. In fact, it's the inverse in the Army Painter, not that I mind since I like the helmeted version over the helmetless version...
Is it possible to uninstall the patch? Ever since I installed it I can't even play vanilla soulstorm?

I installed the hunt begins and ultimate apocalypse worked, although it crashed shortly after my first game. But opening the new races didnt even start the game.
So i installed pathc v1.85.5 and now the game wont start at all. I downloaded NTcore and it opens with notepad, looks like gibberish in notepad, sp i just simply copied and pasted it into the soulstorm file.
Also i downloaded the other three races, and the extra mods such as objective point.
I dunno im tired im going to bed, be nice if all the files had install programs.
i've installed the patch and now some necrons units have messed up textures, and one unit is whole pink
Hi, I keep getting the Objective points UA is missing message from the MODenizer, please help I cant find a download for it
Hi, I replaced the objective points to get one of the race mods (inquisitors i think). Now the DOW MODenizer says I am missing the Objective_points_UA mod to make it work. Is there a link for this specific mod? People say its in the UA mod itself but I tried uninstalling and patching it again, still it doesn't seem to work.
So is there a link for the objective points UA to install that manually?
