Closed Tester Check in Thread - Tiberium Secrets mod for C&C3: Tiberium Wars

As the ASI Alpha approaches we will be granting more tags to the community.

This OP may change without notice, so please check it regularly once Testing begins. (We'll do our best to notify testers by email of major revisions)

Please introduce yourself in any way you'd like.

Please Do Not edit your own tags on this forum, unless your a designated project administrator.

Please identify any skills you may have, if not already apparent, and an admin will grant you the appropriate tags. Unless they have “admin” or “Staff” they are not part of the team.

Please Do Not share any in-game information with anyone who Doesn't have a "Tester" tag, even if contacted directly. (You always have the right to challenge and ask to confirm someone's qualifications, no matter what they tell you, report any suspicious conduct / observations to team administrators for prompt review.)

In order to post in this thread, you Must either be:

1. A current team member/ contributor
2. Good standing former member/ contributor
3. A selected community member
4. A past or present C&C community staff member

(if you are one of these four, you will have an email most likely from "secretreality7@gmail.com", signed by a project administrator, with a link to this thread.)

“Good standing” is defined by all current team department leaders, the basis of which are levels of professionalism displayed while part of the project in terms of their communication, contribution, and time management.

QA Testing FAQ:

Q: When and how will I receive the ASI Alpha test builds?

A: We will be sending it out when it is ready, in waves, to the email we have on file for you.

Q:What if my email changes at any time?

A: Please email or PM a project admin here on moddb, or email secretreality7@gmail.com (With both your full name, user name, and link to your moddb profile, and we will update your contact information in our records.

Q: Can a tester register with multiple emails?

A: No, one primary email must be used.

Q: Can I show my friends/ family/ coworkers a build? And allow them to play?

A: Yes, as long as You take responsibility of the build, and they either watch you, or they play on your computer. (No sharing or copying of the build onto any new device/ computer through any network is permitted. one tester one build.

(Screen share is allowed, as long as no recording devices are used)

Breaching of trust by sharing/ posting videos on social networking sites, youtube, public forums, or any other online and or offline areas will result in revocation of "All testing privileges".

Q: But what if I'm a member of some kind of community and or official news/ media organization, wanting to review and potentially promote the project?

A:If you haven't already, please identify yourself and your affiliation, and send an email to secretreality7@gmail.com and put "For PR" in your subject line, and we will attend to your request as soon as possible, granting documented written authorization and or discussion of the details when appropriate.

Q: What if I'd like to recommend someone for "Closed Testing"?

A: You can do this by contacting any project admin, and describe why you think they'd be qualified/ a good closed tester, if possible, please also link or make mention of their contributions / affiliations. (They will be bound by the same terms and conditions listed and implied.)

Q: Beyond the restrictions above, what would cause me or someone to lose their ""Closed Testing"?

A: As long as you treat everyone with respect, you’ll be fine. (Specific regulations will be released when the builds are released, and they will be made clear at that time, and you’ll have a chance to discuss them to make sure their as fair as possible.

Q: How long will I have "Closed Testing" privileges, access and rights?

A: Each individual will retain access for the duration of the project, for each "Closed testing" round as long as they remain in 1 of the 3 categories above, and follow the expectations and restrictions laid out in this thread/ document, as well as direct email/ moddb Personal messages (PM) communications from and or between Project administrators to you,and any other documented conduct expectations based on your category.

(Notifications and or warnings of any change in status will be given on an as needed basis, and if any violations are suspected, documentation will be referred to.)

We reserve the right to revoke privileges for any documented breach of team & community professional conduct on our Moddb page or internal team communications.

If you Do not agree to these terms, or have any questions or concerns about them, please contact the project coordinator.

“Documentation” as defined for the purposes of this thread/ document refers to the written and or audio recorded records that make up both the specific aspects and contribution at large of communications both within and across all Tiberium secrets related files, emails, moddb personal messages (PM), all skype communications, these forums here in, in house records, backups, backups of backups, Google drive, Gmail, and Trello.

Any unauthorized access of and or tampering of builds, documentation,of or for the purposes of disrupting operations, communications, asset alteration asset removal, falsifying “closed testing” status, code alteration, code removal , and documentation falsification and or disruption is all strictly prohibited, and will result in immediate review and removal from all Tiberium Secrets team and community platforms.

Well, producing the level of content we have, on no budget, and life events.....

Mainly the issue was finding a suitable coder. So ya, thanks to commie dog.

With ParaCombatant, my little self and all other old fellas including copperkiller,narcoutic,Kraist,Jafod,Saline,FIN7, cheetahman738 and GEN.ZOOL, the things would indeed get funny and lot lively once again. :-) Theres still a lot of amazing things awaiting and ahead of us all.

But, no one has any sign of or any contact with WunderKind? 'Cause it would be good to know we are all alive and kicking indeed.

In todays(year 2088+) world, great leaders resolve their conflicts with words. words like.. Dark matter energy. Particle cannon projector. Nanitic swarm.. and many other "words". :-)

I can eat hotdogs, french fries and hamburgers really fast, is that a valuable skill which would earn me a special purple colored tag which would identify me as "bad ass motherfucker" ? Oh, I think that if I will be blessed with "tester" tag, thats more than I can ever deserve or hope for, if I will be deemed worthy. xD

yeah about myself. I'm not really a brainstorm guy but I can suggest balances and gameplay mechanics using my experience on rts gameplays.

Hello there, I am PurpleGaga27 (aka Zocom7).

I was once a modder for Red Alert 1, C&C Generals and RA3, and I am now currently a C&C3 modder ever since C&C3 was released. Despite modding C&C3 for a long time, I have learnt many things coding, fixing and editing xmls, but now I have gone to some advanced material in C&C3 modding. I have released several C&C mods during my pastime such as KW Reloaded, C&C3 Reloaded and RA3 Reloaded.

I can also edit maps but only the fundamentals.

For some reason I can see this thread. Does that mean I'm a tester? If not you guys might need to change some settings

Zeke, you can edit and add "tester" status in your signature settings.

Yeah, even after I logged out I could still see this thread, so I'm pretty sure this thread's privacy settings needs some fixing.

As of now, it's actually set to public, so everyone knows who's a closed tester, and nay motivate them to potentially earn the status.

As of now Zeke, your in priority consideration, which means you have to do less to get closed testing than others, given your veteran support of C&C.
