This modification offers an alternative gameplay to Tiberian Wars involving many Tiberian Sun units which many CnC fans (like me) missing in vanilla CNC3 and add even new my made units which you can't find anywhere else. Story is quite the same like Tiberian Wars, but is all about what if GDI and Nod do not abandon technologies they have used in Tiberian Sun era and instead of that further developed them. But it's not only that, there are many visual, sound and balance changes which I want to see and hear in my mod, new sounds, new music, new effects (like blood and gore, new infantry deaths, new more realistic missile trails) and many more.

I take it the Kodiak acts as an epic unit almost? 1 ship at a time ?

What if we had an array of foreward facing railguns on this thing like the Mark II's chain gun :)
Too unbalanced?

An Husk is not possible if the unit is getting killed, is it?

You can imagine a ship falling off and blowing up into pieces, and then capturing it with an engineer/saboteur/assimilator and get fully operative again like nothing happened?

Plus, the husk capturing feature was removed in this mod.

Well, even though it might sound stupid, like it even is, remember Tiberian Sun and what a glory feeling this would be. Your Kodiak is blowing up and going down on the battlefield, your last chance in this battle. But what are you now going to do? You had an engineer next to it, because of a tib-tower. And you got it captured. I'd think that this would be a truly glory moment.

But alright, had never noticed that this was removed^^

could be cool that if you can capture the wreckage you get a bonus in build speed for the next one.

Pablicio Feb 23 2013 replied:

Actually I was playing the mod, and I noticed that it wasn't removed, the time was reduced to a very small moment that you couldn't even capture it with engineers.

Plus, well, now that you say, maybe you're kinda right, falling off and crashing, but leaving a husk, makes sense to me now.

So you could actually say it's "removed" :D

Sorry, if my statement wasn't this clear then^^

I think it would be cool if it did crash and leave a husk, but you couldnt build another untill the husk was destroyed. If you captured the husk it should have to slowly repair itself before being able to lift off again, perhaps with a feature of as time goes on, more and more of its weapons systems would come online.

Dentedhelm Apr 21 2013 replied:

Yeah, I like that idea. Kind of like the Backup Systems in TW4. The weapon system gradual repair is good too, like at first speed is halved and only a few missles are coming out of the pods, but eventualy it gets working. A cool thing would be if it remained in a extra-damaged state after reclaimation, so it looks like it really did just pick itself up off the ground. And I do miss husks soo much! I remember stealthing up to a Juggernaut encampment, C4'ing and then capping them, and sending some return fire! XD

Or what if the enemy had an engineer nearby instead of yours? :S So with this feature, a player can potentially have TWO epic units from the Tacitus Archive, which wouldn't be good at all and it'd be too much power for one person to have. For this reason, I would say no to any of these large epic units leaving a husk for simply recapturing with an engineer. Husks would be fine for lower-tier units though.

Wow, Kodiak looks really amazing! I think it would be awesome to create some new missile effects for it-you know, so it looks even more mighty.
Also I kinda miss the option to fire weapons from 1 unit at 2+ targets. It would be awesome, if it could fire missiles at several targets, as focusing fire of 1 strong unit on 1 target is usually overkill and wastage of ammo.
