This modification offers an alternative gameplay to Tiberian Wars involving many Tiberian Sun units which many CnC fans (like me) missing in vanilla CNC3 and add even new my made units which you can't find anywhere else. Story is quite the same like Tiberian Wars, but is all about what if GDI and Nod do not abandon technologies they have used in Tiberian Sun era and instead of that further developed them. But it's not only that, there are many visual, sound and balance changes which I want to see and hear in my mod, new sounds, new music, new effects (like blood and gore, new infantry deaths, new more realistic missile trails) and many more.

Afterburner is possible new ability of banshee as requested by community. It will very likely replace enhanced avionics as upgrade so this ability will be build in. Hopefully this will improve banshee usefulness.
Cool I was about to say something on the forums about how I thought banshees should have a speed boost ability both to stay on par with the firehawk and to live up more to Nod's doctrine of using the faster more flimsy units.

Ah, I guess the Anti-Air upgrade integrated, this unit is a little bit overpowered. Like the GDI Orca, the Banshee should have an Anti-Air upgrade which has to be developed in the tech center.
so, no more AA banshees. It makes it pretty balanced if they come bombing in at high speed.
No you take it wrong. Good vs Vehicles, aircraft - means its both anti ground and anti-aircraft fighter, only do not need upgrade anymore to enable it.
So I don´t need a upgrade anymore? YEAH!!!

Please tell me I'm not the only one that noticed this.... It's only good against Orca's, Vertigos PAC's, Devestators, and the Motherships by this analysis. Does this make it the weakest of the three "dog-fighting" aircraft? If anything it should be on par or slightly lower than the Firehawk.
On a positive note: this design does look much better, it gives the Banshee that hit-and-run look. The speed boost will be much appreciated to compete against the Firehawk's Stratoboosters. What is the design on the left wing for?
Adding to the above comment, supposedly Nod has better air control than GDI.
Also, I'm in favor of a buff for the banshee's damage to aircraft or maybe a RoF boost (like shooting off more than 2 rounds each pass). A RoF boost might help make the banshee more of a hit and run vehical, too.
GDI's actually had air superiority with the VTOL flight capable craft they have, the Banshee was NOD's ATTEMPT to match it, though it was on par with ORCA fighters before they were fully loaded up with air to ground rockets, it's not really on par with the new firehawk AA-loadout dog-fighting.. No idea how close they should be to the Stormrider, but perhaps this could be a Rock-Paper-Scissors dog fight craft, where the Firehawk bests the Banshee, the Banshee bests the Stormrider, and the Stormrider bests the Firehawk, but thats simplifying things too much.. Either way, Carnius will handle these details with plans he probably already has since i'm roughly a day late in commenting :P
Hey I'm just saying what I heard from the C&C 3 storyline. Maybe I heard it somewhere else that isn't very reliable though...

It's in the C&C 3 storyline...
Either way Nod isn't completely focused on stealth they are focused on Guerilla warfare, which stealth is only a part of. Plus GDI doesn't seem to focus on air at all, instead going for heavy land and sea based control. In fact another part of the C&C 3 storyline is that GDI has sea superiority.

its balanced that the banshee looses on 1v1 against a firehawk or a stormrider. the firehawk cant always have AA missiles, and the stormrider has no other unit to counter. will give the stormriders a purpose in the game. the banshees will prevail in the end anyway!

btw, Enhanced Avionics now an ability? I mean, we will able to set priority for Banshees, so they will attack either air or ground, not both at a time?
If yes, then its real nice, Carnius, because they were usually attack infantry when on patrol, that's were annoying -_- Can you change AI of Banshee so they will ignore infantry at all?
And i'm glad i can now finally just send them to attack only air-units automaticly when i need to.
no no no! what i like in the banshees is their abillity to take down a mammoth mk2 and then have an assault mothership for dessert immediately after killing the mk2. in other words, their abillity to hit air and ground targets at the same time without having to change loadout.
They dont need to "cnahge loadout" like firehawk, this ability will only allow or not banshee shoot air/ground without order from player.
So, you send banshee at mammonth mk2, then click on abilty to allow engage air units, and in less then 1sec they will able to attack air, but not ground, and you took down mothership like in your example. :)

and how does that help the player? its the same thing. if u have problems with banshees shooting other targets (like infantry, which while moving are very hard to hit) have them at hold fire stance until they are close to the taget and then order them to attack the target u want to kill. and if u want to dogfight change their stance to guard stance. also some micromanagement is always needed with bombers.

This is by far one of the most amazing mods for C&C3 I've ever seen. I'm upset that the modding scene has died off of C&C3, but to see that this is still going so well strong just gives me a real warm feeling.

why not make the banshee ang firehawk similar to storm rider? I mean the storm rider doesnt need to reload once it take off it doesnt need to land again...
