The fine individuals who have brought you C&C Tiberian Dawn Redux and Tiberian Sun Redux for CnC Zero Hour, have decided to switch over to CnC 3 to give you a more Tiberian Sun themed mod then they could on Generals Zero Hour. The mod will feature all of the Original Tiberian Sun and Firestorm units, together with new never seen before Forgotten units and structures, GDI and Nod Tiberian Dawn Timeline units and structures you can capture on the battlefield or even if you want play as them, and remove those Hightech egg-heads from the battlefield. With all this extra firepower a new faction have arrived, little to none information is available at the time for what there purpose is in this war, but we will find out soon.

Welcome Back, Commanders! Apologise for the wait on this update we've been working very hard behind the scenes on the Tiberium aspects of Tiberian Sun Rising. Now finally Transformation has arrived! Here we present the shape of things to come1 If you like this update please vote for us in Mod of the Year!

Transformation is here!

Welcome to the Wildlife

The Blue Tiberium Fiend in its natural habitat is heavily armoured and able to fire explosive blue Tiberium Shards if you thought a pack of Green Tiberium Fiends was deadly just hope you only run into one of these monsters. What makes them truly terrifying to fight while inside a Blue Tiberium field is their crystal shards can trigger Chain Reactions which their armour and Tibeirum's healing effects will mostly protect them from. Blue Tiberium just got that much harder to mine and secure for your forces.

Vote Tiberian Sun Rising for Mod of the Year! 2018!

The world is transforming itself, into an Eden a paradise awaiting the birth of a new race!

Welcome to the WildlifeWelcome to the WildlifeJericho Region

Tiberium spreads and continues to mutate the environment around it we are seeing the emergence of new Tiberium Flora which purpose in the Tiberium Ecosystem is still being observed. The big terror that has been unleashing lately has been the Vein Hole Monsters. These monstrous creatures emerge from the ground with gigantic tentacles that can attack and thrash anything that gets too close. It then spreads a field of smaller Vein tentacles that act as a defensive mechanism while also storing precious Tiberium Gas which can be mined by the Brotherhoods Waste Facility.

Drop Pod Reinforcements Spotted

Re-inforcement have arrived

The Drop Pod deployments from the Philadelphia Space Station have proved to be a great success. GDI can now deploy veteran troops anywhere in the world where its needed against either the Brotherhood or the Tiberium menace.

Fist of Nod Detected

Fist of Nod readyFist of Nod readyJericho Region

Nod's Mobile Weapons Factory the FIst of Nod has been spotted in the field, Nod already had an edge with its Stealth technology and Stealth Generators. But now they don't even need a base in the area as long as they have the credits and a Fist of Nod. Nod can produce vehicles anywhere on the battlefield. If you thought Nod was sneaky before their movements are harder to predict then ever now.

That's all we have to show this update, Make sure to vote for us for Mod of the Year! The Tiberian Sun is on the RIse!.

It have been years since Tiberian Sun Redux got updated, and to be honest any process made to it. And I'm sorry for that, the main reason is my second mod Evolutions: Real Time Strategy Evolved got high priority.

However since a couple weeks I got recruited to help out Tiberian Sun Rising with art assets, since both mods are focusing on Tiberian Sun and Rising almost done compared to Redux it will make more sense to help out Rising while I'm doing small work on Redux.

So what have I done for them you ask your self, currently not much I have textured and uv mapped some models they already had, modeled something and animated stuff

To see the stuff ingame make sure you follow Tiberian Sun Rising.

It have been awhile since we posted a news article, to be precise the last one was on Nov 21, 2013. And allot have changed since then, for example we moved the development of Tiberian Sun Redux from Zero Hour to Tiberium Wars, and this have its reasons, the big one is that we had to do allot of black magic to mimic the Tiberian sun mechanics in Generals Sage and most of the time it didn't worked out like it should be. Now the second reason is the engine of Generals is pretty old, and to Tiberium Wars just give us allot of freedom to do what we want to do with this mod.

Now are there two Tiberian Sun based mods out there for Tiberium Wars ?

You can say yes, if you dont count Tiberian Apocalypse and Tiberium Essence as a example. But what is the difference of Tiberian Sun Rising and Tiberian Sun Redux ? Tiberian Sun Rising is not just a remake while Tiberian Sun Redux is. What do I mean with not just a remake ? Let me quote the original Tiberian Sun Rising description.

"

Tiberian Sun Rising is a total conversion modification for Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, which see's the return of the Global Defense Initiative and the Brotherhood of Nod battling it out during the the Second Tiberum War! retelling Tiberian Sun like never before.

A Whole New Tiberian Sun!
Not just a remake, but Tiberian Sun Rising is the next evolution of Tiberian Sun! Its time you saw the future, while you still have human eyes! Having been redesigned from the ground up to include all the things you love from Tiberian Sun, with new features, abilities, units and gameplay better then ever. We take the mindset that this is the first time Tiberian Sun is being made as an originale game as a design concept/mindset for our development.

This mod will include the additions made in the expansion Firestorm as well they will make a return with a new spin. This mod promise's to do alot and we'll be bringing back the thing's you love from Tiberian Sun like. Stealth technology, Real Tiberium, Subtterain Units the Firestorm Defense system and more!

Battle the Elements!
One of the most exciting feature's we'll be including is a dynamic growing Tiberum environment which mutates the battlefield as it spreads! You could start on a map with not much tiberium at all, and finish the battle with Vein Holes, Ion Storms and more all occuring! So watch out!

"

And with Tiberian Sun Rising not just being a remake, there isn't much of a difference between Tiberian Sun Rising and Tiberian Sun Redux. Both of the development team are strafing to bring the best of Tiberian Sun in 3D for the public to enjoy. So with that said, lets hope to see any update in the future from the TSR Team, and we'll see you in the next update.

Paging all armchair generals - please wax your moustaches, don your monocles and, er, plump your armchairs. Microsoft appears to be working on a new instalment of a classic strategy game franchise, as per a job ad spotted by NeoGAF.
"Microsoft Studios is looking for a highly experienced senior games developer to help build and lead the team for a new AAA title within an established and well-loved strategy game franchise," it reads. The successful candidate's "primary responsibilities will be to recruit and lead the client-side engineering team, drive technical strategy for client development, manage the day-to-day engineering rhythm, and evaluate and recommend appropriate middleware and tools to accomplish our goals".

Microsoft has three strategy franchises that could fit the label "established and well-loved", by my reckoning. The most obvious is Age of Empires, created by now-dead Ensemble Studios - there hasn't been a peep on that front since 2011's free-to-play instalment Age of Empires Online, which is due to be closed down in July 2014.Ensemble is also the studio behind Halo Wars, one of the few well-regarded and successful console-native real-time strategy titles. I'm not sure I'd call it an "established" franchise, though - sales weren't spectacular. Phil Spencer praised the game's control scheme while expressing guarded enthusiasm for console strategy experiences in January.Last but not least, there's Viva Pinata, Rare's intensely sugary animal husbandry sim. The developer has ideas for how a new game might make use of Kinect, and Microsoft's head PR honcho Major Nelson has broached the subject on Reddit. I also can't help noticing that Rare retweeted our retrospective from last month. On the other hand, the job listing above is based in Redmond, rather than at Rare's HQ in Leicestershire, UK.Any frothy bits of speculation to share?

I'll like to thank everybody for voting for us, thanks to you we made it in the top 100 of Mod of the Year 2013. I promised you guys new screens of the buildings for the Dawn and Sun century, but I cant and I'm really sorry for that. The reason for that is because I'm working on to recreate the team coloring like in Tiberium Wars, when you have selected your unit.

Besides that I'm doing something little for Twisted Insurrection, what that is I cant tell you have to wait and see if they announce it them self.

So forgive me for that, and have an forgotten screenshot instead.

Before I forget to ask dont forget to vote for Tiberian Sun Redux in Phase 2 of MOTY 2013 by clicking here and while you are there vote for your other favorite mods as wel.
