These combatants: the Riot Police and the Mercenary, are original works of Collins, that we will be using in Tiberian Dawn. You will notice that he likes to include his own touch to the concept art, like the raccoon city logo on the mercenary, lol. We hope that these additional personalities can give additional "oomph" to the mod, in how they are implemented.
Mercs as a recruitable unit from a capturable building, cops as a unique support unit in urban campaign maps?
In the areas they go to there aren't really any cops.
Allot of action in the GDI campaign was around urban areas and despite the fact that the civil population may have fled a police presents in the area would have to be maintained, the Riot Bundespolizei show above may be conducting operations to evacuate refugees, or preventing looters, or quell Civil-disturbances, possibly even aiding the UN “Giddy Ups” in peacekeeping operations.
