Tiberian Apocalypse is a Partial Conversion for Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars with the goal to create a true Tiberian Sun sequel. GDI, Nod and the Scrin are getting a complete overhaul.

the Zonetroopers use heavy assault rifles now (left), and can be upgraded to railguns (right).
And they too use the new railgun FX.

Whats the point in giving them new upgrades if you are going to replace them with the new S.H.I.E.L.D infantry?
Maybe they'll be there despite the earlier announcements and promises...
I decided to not replace them with the SHIELDs, as the Zonetroopers fit much better into the Tiberium timeline.
So is it a global upgrade, or is it done for each unit? It would be nice if you could have some with assault rifles for infantry, rail guns for vehicles.
It's triggered by the Railgun upgrade that is already in CnC3, so yeah, it's global.
