Tiberian Apocalypse is a Partial Conversion for Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars with the goal to create a true Tiberian Sun sequel. GDI, Nod and the Scrin are getting a complete overhaul.
I don't know man, its like they are nerfed to the point that their existence is practically useless, unless of course your have something other in mind, cause hell GDI can now simply tank spam without being worrying being counter........ No matter how much you like to avoid it, someone, will take advantage and spam units cause there is no counter for it......:\

Whats the point of the venom if it cant be used in numbers and cant really perform indefinite scouting duty if it has to reload constantly. 5 half second bursts isnt enough to last considering the harpy had tons more ammo and even in earlier games nod helicopters could stay up for a long time compared to the orca. enough to make it a constant infantry threat or looming scout.
In terms of reloading id rather it go the CNC4 route of having to reload over a period of time after expending so much ammunition and having a 5 second cooldown period or so where it has to withdraw or face retaliation fire like the GDI hurricanes.
In terms of the no more venom spam comment. Venom spam is usually a cover for a real attack because a venom spam is 9 times out of 10 going to fail miserably because they simply aren't durable enough to maintain an attack.
In all. reconsider your venom weapon load out because its not going to work for NOD even if the banshee does take air superiority role. It was never the Venoms job to take out aircraft in the first place since they are so vulnerable. It was more an orca pester. Venoms have already enough hard counters. It doesn't need to be made useless like this concept is going to make it.
I don't think it that useless in CNC3 All I use the Venom for is infantry counter event if it has to reload that doesn't make useless it still a great scout for infantry but this in my opinion make it more balance by not being able to spam them the Venom in my opinion is not of anti armor or light armor not air but for infantry, distraction, hit run or harassing and just plain annoying your enemy being being cheap, quick, and something that can be lost without much or no impact to you army's strength and you can still use of concealing you true attack this is just so people don't keep send 30~50 venom super redundant

Let me condense this for you. This is a Venom nerf in a way. If a unit needs to be spammed to be useful in the first place, it's already too weak IMO. The Venom's job will be killing infantry and early-game vehicles. You need to consider that the Banshee requires the tech center.
I really hope you give the venom a very serious firepower upgrade if you are going to make it a unit thst requires an air pad considering that its a gun based unit. It may get written off by a lot of players as you are already seeing vastly in comments that this is a very bad move for the venom. If you are going to give it any amount of limited munition take the allied Apollo fighter some consideration as it has a large ammo capacity to compensate its gun based weapon and the empire fighters don't require reload at all. Its by all means given a very specific place and it doesn't exactly warrant being changed by the methods you are bringing up unless you can dedicate it to a specific role. Remember GDI gets Orcas off the same tier NOD gets Venoms and idealy they are set up as one countering the other.
why would someone spam the venom anyways? attack bike was better for spamming and rushing. sure one shell from the predator pretty much took it out but the attack bike was far more powerful then the venom even with the laser. just do waves of 10 bikes each or if you dont mind the money spam the stealth tanks put them on aggressive and do waves of those
Can you be exact with the venoms role is because everyone really is going to want to know at this point with the venom being a key unit in a lot of NOD players strategies. You might as well call it a Cobra at this point if its going to be a more powerful anti ground unit then something that crawls up on you like venoms do
Look what some people do when they spam venoms lets say 20 or 30 they fly right in hit the power plants so the defences will power down then hit the con yard then the war factory then withdraw until they spam some more and finish off the incapacitated army.
I know this because I've seen it happen I have even been the victim to it and even taken revenge by doing it myself. GDI AA guns are rubbish at taking them out one by one NOD sam missiles fire in clusters they can smach down any number of those venoms when they target a specific part of the sky where some of them pack up.
i never did that because it would be too easy course the way i did it was faster without loosing any units taking out the power plants. send bombers and just before they get in defenses range use super weapon or a support power to take out power
I've gone back to a single gun, makes it easier to ballance.
It now fires 5 half second bursts before having to return to reload.

somewhat. You can't easily spam it anymore because it required a parking space now, and it doesn't attack aircraft anymore.
Does it have to reload at the airfield, or is it more like the Stormrider?

how powerful will the bursts be, because if 1 burst can take out 1 squad then maybe there is a potential, but other wise it is gonna be useless

The role will primarilty be scouting, anti-vehicle and anti-infantry.
The Banshee does the anti-vehicle role better, but is later game.
Little updated: I Just had to badly nerf the Venom because a single venom could almost destroy an entire airfield.

Ok so the venom is kinda more of a Cobra / Orca / Still old Venom Role with being a pure gunship now vs a patrol craft it used to be.
It still is a patrol craft, not purely gunship.
its stealth detection is gone however, it has a longer visual range. And if I can, I'll make it invisible on radar.
