I'll probably do 2-3 more versions, but I just couldn't let the awesome design of the Hunter go to waste :P

Nice. Will this be a light battle...tank on an APC chassis?

A counterpart to the Titan?

(Plus karma for you)

Actually, now it looks like a mix of a TW and TT Hunter, but still looks like it can kick some ***.

It is an AFV - Armored Fighting Vehicle.

It not only has a name resemblance with the M1128 Stryker Mobile gun system but also similar functions depending of the variant. Youtube.com and Youtube.com

In this case this would be a light high mobility vehicle with a hard hitting main gun intended to engage enemy armor and sacrifice armor for mobility.

See it as a tank that isn't very hard but can keep up with the pace of all but the fastest Nod units.

Actually it's an IFV, because it acts both as light tank and APC.

If they are APCs, will they have fireports?

Nope, this is essentially the APC. And instead of firing ports, it gets this cannon.

you should also do APC and mobile mortar for the stryker. and that MGS is made for tank-killing right?

I always found the Hunter to be unsuitable for GDI. GDI has always favoured armour over mobility in every game they were featured in. It's just a part of their military doctrine.

Having said that, it's a very nice model. :)

That doesn't mean they are stupid though. At some point they must realize that only having slow armored units isn't the way to go. A mix of light/fast vehicles alongside slow/armored units will be best. Nod got smarter and made the Avatar too :P

BTW I love the model.

what about the MLRS hover thing ? :) or the amphibious apc on tiberium sun ? :)GDI still have a few fast units but not as fast or as many as NOD do :)

Its funny that most mods and games have a APC or some other light vehicle called something similar.

Anyway it looks like it could wreck something really bad and before those poor sobs facing this beast get a chance to grab their guns and power their defence this thing would disappear (drive away)

APCs do play a vital role if you're an infantry player.

As long as it doesn't shoot pink and cyan bullets of utter gayness like in some other game that shall not be named I'm fine with it.

IFV means Infantry fighting vehicle ? I thought its howitzer or other artillery and meanwhile its medium tank on APC.Though,it has not fire ports,no AA or antiinfantry weapon. But still, its sweet.

I'd look closer ;)

It has a machinegun under the main gun. And I'm considering to add a Missile pod on the back of the turret as AA.

Hy not making it variable? i mean, depending on which infantry squad you put in, the turret changes! Rifle infantry: Gaattling guns. Rocketeer: missile pods. Grenadeers: grenade launchers.. etc...

Because that belongs into RA (and doesn't make any sense at all)

The Bradley they use now the army got rid of the fireing ports yet still holds troops. who says an APC type vehicle has to have the ports?

exactly considering all the other CNC games transport units still dont have firing ports unless its literally in its name somehow.

Ill agree with you on using the GDI hunter tank base with this. Its funny chasing around everything down in a hunter tank considering it was a hit and run unit and looks like it should be a transport vs a medium vehicle. It would be a worthy replacement for your APC. its also alot closer to the concept then the final CNC4 model

I dont think hes using this to replace the APC but I could be wrong. I think its something to go along with the APC

This is replacing the IFV, which is replacing the APC.

will it be using a faster firing cannon type weapon. Thinking of rate and power of something like the RA3 Tsunami tank or something else?
