The Ultimate Universe Mod began in January 2007 with the goal then being a multi stage development process. Chris Jones Gaming as an entity had just begun, and the team, growing by the day, was off to create one heck of a mod. The team acquired modelers, mappers, scripters, programmers, and other ‘staff’. We ended up releasing a ‘demo’ on 4/14/07 – Followed immediately by a little patch to fix a few things. Demo Patch two was released to the public on 5/21/07 after much beta testing, which included all new TOS ships from Moonraker, and a reworked single player campaign from Gamemaster, among other things. Many new missions and 1 on 1 maps added. Mindwipe provided many new sound effects and produced a very nice soundtrack for each race in the mod. Then came The Ultimate Borg, Dominion, then a full 1.0 release on 9/24/07. Stage 2 is in progress with no set release date. Stay tuned my friend.
This release includes updates to a fair number of existing ships to add features to them such as breaking nacelles with plasma effects, animated bussards, reduced torpedo circling, bump maps, and some torpedo circling prevention work. There are also a number of new ships, Wagaugusto's Olympic Class. Phoenix's TOS Proxima which was released to public in December is now included. The ole Marauder from BC ported by Muldrf with Acidfluxxbass's take on it's textures and Miri and Gan's effects and weapons. Galaxy X (Evolution) Class, The Icarus Class. There are also numerous ships by Rudianos. Additional texture work by Gan and Acidfluxxbass on various ships. Great new effects work by Miri as usual. New Destruction Damage work by Gan making it a bad idea to get to close to a dying ship.
Ultimate Universe 2.2 Update Readme (Build 2 – Includes UU2.2 Minipatch 2)
Ultimate Universe 2.2 is a patch to Ultimate Universe 2.0 and not a stand alone release.
Installation: (please see note on the XI Pack Compatibility)
UU 2.2 is an update to UU2.0. This means you must have UU2.0 installed properly before installing UU2.2.
Start with a clean unmodded copy of Star Trek Legacy. Next install UU2.0 Part 1 of 2, and then install UU2.0 Part 2 of 2. Finally Install UU2.2.
UU 2.2 includes all fixes that were previously included with the 2.0 Minpatches, they are no longer required if you go strait to 2.2 your fine. Also they can be installed before 2.2 and not cause problems.
Compatibility notice for the Star Trek XI Pack:
UU2.2 is compatible with the UU2.0 Version of the Star Trek XI Pack. The XI Pack must be installed/reinstalled AFTER UU2.2 or your game will crash on opening. If you had the XI Pack installed before installing UU2.2 then just reinstall the XI Pack and the XI Pack Patch and it will correct the crash problem on startup.

1. Corrected typo in readme for Rudianos' name.
2. Removed 2 of Boulder's early maps which were improperly credited to LMM in initial release. They should be added again in the future when he get them finished, as those were Work in Progress and Incomplete maps.
3. Fixed the Galaxy X Pulse Refit, its beam weapon odfs were missing due to getting lost in the mix of the compile.
4. Boulder's Starbase 600 has received an update (yep already) See "UU 2.2 - Boulder.txt" for details
5. Changed "Gamma Sector 1" name for AQ's Vs Battle map to the proper "Gamma 1" name. This map is also a map for Instant Random Battle as are all Vs Battle maps.
Minipatch R1 is Not multiplayer compatible the UU2.2 Initial Release.
