The Great War is a modification for Company of Heroes meant to bring the war two decades earlier. This mod focuses on the later years of the First World War. Currently the two teams will be the British Expeditionary Force against the German Empire, however with time the team will try and bring some more nations in, such as France and Austria-Hungary. This mod will focus or realism but keep the game balanced enough to make it enjoyable. Things to look for in the mod are the famous artillery strikes and the infamous gas attacks. Trenches will provide vital cover for infantry while tanks will roll over the battlefield and instil fear into the enemy troops.

So, I know they played a small part near the end, and are often highly discredited; even dogged-on for thinking that they were of any use at all during the war. But will the U.S. be making any sort of appearance?
Would be cool as an infantry call in for a support doctrine, as I believe that of all the allied troops, US troops worked most closely with the French, and also employed the FT17
I don't believe the US contribution was large enough to be included in this game when compared with other nations. Please shut up.

Hopefully it will be a special unit for the french, I hope to see some famous regiments and divisions, Like the Moroccan ones. ect.

It's been one year. Also, there's far, far, FAR more to making a whole faction than just a couple infantry models.
Can we have some more information about the french faction?
