Also heavy AA system are using deploy function different that normal zero hour. Deploying can be set manually or automatic when the unit detects enemy units in it's range. Once the unit is deployed it can not move even you give it order to move will only be able to fire and other units can not force it to move when they pass near by. (Same function like Siege tank in Star Craft). You maybe noticed the anoying bug when you deployed something and it pack by it self to make space for other units to move. This was very anoying and frustrating... but now once deployed they need to be packed manually.

That deploy feature is a classic C&C feature, it was in C&Cs; before Starcraft. Im glad to see it back. :)

I like the idea of units being dependent on each other to be useful instead of being a complete package in one unit. Like, all tanks and infantry have limited ammo (enough where you won't need refills constantly at the front lines), and need to be in an ammo carrier's range to restock.

That is one better idea, to avoid spamming pesky AA units. XD

so if I want to have long-range artillery only what position I have several radar stations or the missile launchers must be in the area of influence of the active radar

The SAM systems must be putted in the orange cusor / aura of the radar so they can fire. More radars in different locations more points to plase you SAM :) Of course your can have 2 or more radars covering same SAM system to ensure your units will continue to fire if one of radars are destroyed. But this is extra money you have to spend :)

Description

Another achievement in codding. All heavy AA units such as S-300, THAAD, HQ-9 need radar to get their targeting system works. If the unit is out of radar field cover it can not engage or shoot. So the radars are now very important if you wanna spam a lot of those AA system...
